Chapter Twentyone: Tournament Qualifiers

Welcome everyone to the cavalry battle,if you look on the board you'll be able to see your placements in terms of points" Mic said as everyone looked up at the big screen "currently in first place is Tokiwa Yamamoto,Second place,Shoto Todoroki,and currently in third place is Kate Maya!" Mic yelled as the crowd cheered as Present Mic explained the rules "the way this works is,you will get in  groups of 3,one being the head and the other being the body,you will have headbands that have 1,000 points on them. Your goal is to keep your headband and take others headbands,the one with the most headbands at  the end of the set time limit will be moved on to the final part of the festival" Mic said as  he released them to find their partners "Hey,let's be partners" A girl with light pink hair and yellow golden yellow eyes said as Max looked at her and shrugged "yeah ,sure" Max said as a dark blue haired boy came to him asking the same thing .We cut to the siblings. "Alright. Mask is on, Quirk is ready. Let's go," Candice thought to herself as Present Mic walked in the room. "Get ready guys," Mic said as the two nodded. "Wait. Where's Jamie?" Candice asked. "He already found his partners,his gym uniform wasn't as scuffed as ours so we need to hurry up and find people'' Fourze said as we pan over to Jamie as Bakugou is sitting on his and Denki's shoulder "alright,let's destroy them all!" Bakugou yelled as the three of them began to cackle loudly. "Hey,do you have a partner Fourze?" Jirou asked as Foruze walked out of the changing room. "Not yet," Fourze said as Jirou took his hand. "Alright,we have three guys," Jirou said as Tsu looked at him. "oh,is this your boyfriend Jirou *ribbit*" Tsu said as Fourze slightly blushed in embarrassment. "Yup,he'll be with me on the bottom while you use your tongue and steal headbands" Jirou said as Tsu got on their shoulders. "The time for pairing is almost over!" Mic said as Candice walked over to Momo and Tokiwa. "Hey, can I join your team?" Candice asked as Tokiwa smiled warmly per Momo's request "sure" Tokiwa said as she got on their shoulders "alright,the teams are set,time to begin the battle!" Mic yelled as a horn blared as everyone rushed at one another for their headbands. "Move to the left,now rush to the right" Candice said as she spotted someone "got him" Tokiwa said as he used his  strings to steal his headband "COMING THROUGH EXTRAS!" Bakugou said as he patted Jamie's shoulder. Jamie then used his atomic energy to form a hand that grabbed people's headbands "hmm,this is interesting,he can shape and mold his atomic energy along with using it as a beam like attack. He is definitely different from the rest" Aizawa thinks as Mic makes a joke about him being bandaged head to toe "yo Mummy Eraserhead,howzit going" Mic said as Aizawa looks at him with a cold glare. We cut to Tokiwa's team as they encountered Max's team "take him out Max,he had three headbands" Iida said as he used his quirk to boost their speed "Recipico burst!" Iida yelled as the exhausts on his calves spat out blue flames. Max used his quirk to make it impossible for his to be taken. "Shadow anchor" Max said as the feet of Tokiwa's team got covered in shadows and stopped them in place. Max reached out and snached one of the headbands. Max could have taken all the bands  but decided not to "it wouldn't be fun if i ended the only competition here" Max said as Tokwia used his glitch abilities to teleport his team away. "Must be painful for your team to glitch. I have a few things up my sleeves" Max said as Tokiwa'as team reapered behind Max "nope,this isn't glitch teleporting,this is something i made so i can teleport multiple people,without the drawback of pain. Lag Spike!" Tokiwa said as he used his strings in combination with Candices barriers to take two of the headbands that Max had grabbed previously. Leaving his team with three headbands instead of five. Meanwhile with Izuku and his team. "Alright,Tokoyami can you use your Dark Shadow to grab a few more headbands,Uraraka, you make Dark Shadow weightless so he can move faster" Izuku said as his team had a grand total of seven headbands. Second only to Jikazushi's team which has his clones along with his actual team collecting headbands. "If we can get to ten headbands we'll be smooth sailing" Jikazushi thought as his team consisted of him,his clones,Sero,and Monama. "Alright,I'll do my best," Uraraka said as Tokoyami summoned his Dark Shadow as Uraraka touched it,making it weightless. "Dark Shadow,can you grab like,two headbands,after that we'll be fine to get to the next stage" Izuku said  as Dark Shadow put a thumbs up "NOT SO FAST YOU DAMN NERD!" Bakugou shouted as he and Jamie temporarily used their quirks to create a bright flash of light that dispelled Dark Shadow. "Nice try. But that demon thing wasn't enough," Jamie said. "I got your back" Fourze said as his team backed up Izuku temporarily "Tail beam!" Fourze shouted as Jirou used a sound wave to sun them as Fourze's tail beam cut off two of the headbands. "Got it" Jirou said as Fourze ran over there with his team to catch the headbands.  "Too slow" bryce said as he used his quirk to make two large red hands that got one of the headbands. "Good work" Kate said as bryce handed her the headband.  "Five minutes left,hope you all have enough to get to the final stage " Mic said as bryce's team had 5 headbands ,Fourze's team had 5,Tokiwa's team had 7,Izuku's team had 8, Jamie's team had 5, and Max's team had 6. Along with a few other teams that had enough " times up,everyone ,show how many headbands you have" Mic yelled as the learedbared was presented. "Coming in  second place,Izuku and Uraraka's team with a grand total of 8,000 points, a few teams tying for third  with 7,000 points, and in first we have Jikazushi's team with an outstanding 9,000 points!" Mic yelled as the crowd went wild again cheering for everyone.
