Chapter Thirty-six: Finals Match

"*gulp* Alright,time for our finals match,folks I will warn you,these two students have terrifying quirks that allow them to do amazing things. For your own safety I advise you to all move one seat back as we can't assure you that this battle will not be explosive" Mic said as he saw the final two that were about to battle. The crowd moved one seat back as there was an empty row in the front. "Our first fighter,Tokiwa Yamamoto" Mic said as Tokiwa was afraid. Not afraid of Max,but what will happen if he loses control to whatever took control of him again "it's at least good that i'm going against Max,if i lose control he should be able to stop me" Tokiwa thought as he walked onto the arena "our next fighter,Max Coffee'' Mic said as the crowd cheered for both of the boys from a safe distance "wait a second,i'm not going to fight you unless your at your best,i know what's been bothering you,so the moment we start i'll remove it" Max said as Tokiwa looked at him confused. "what are you talking about?" Tokwa asked as the boys walked up to each other and shook hands in the spirit of good sportsmanship. "Alright,get to your corners,aaaand BEGIN!" Mic said. "Shadow Pause" Max said and Tokiwa could move a bit. "Shadow Speed" Max said. Tokiwa felt a little pain in the back of his neck before his face hit the concrete of the arena. "Fuck!" Tokiwa said as he used his strings to grab Max's leg and swing him in the air "Shadow pillair" Max said as five shadow metal pillars came from the arena and stopped him from being slammed into the ground. "Let's properly start this off,Master V.s Student,with all the training we've done I'd be disappointed if you don't come close to winning. "Heh,just you wait Max,I've been itching for a good fight!" Tokiwa said as he cracked his neck and activated his blood strings "Blood string: Passive Boost" Tokiwa said as his strings glowed bright red. Meanwhile with All for one,he's been wondering why he can't access Tokiwa's bodily functions. "Doctor,explain to me why the chip you installed isn't working" All for One commanded as the Doctor frantically explained a possible answer. "W-well,it could have been destroyed by the explosions from the previous battle,or maybe it was damaged/compromised by one of the heroes" the Doctor said as we pan over to the battle as it finally begins. Tokiwa jumps up and uses his blood strings to tear into the Shadow Metal pillars Max backflips off of them just in time to evade Tokiwa's attacks "not so fast!" Tokiwa yells as he turns around and uses his strings like a whip to try and hurt Max "that's right,dodge my attacks,the moment you land,i'll be right in front of you" Tokiwa thought as Max effortlessly doded each strike as he landed back on the arena "right there!" Tokiwa thought as he teleported right in front of Max and used one hand to use the blood strings as a binding attack that held him in place. Tokiwa then used his blood strings and wrapped them around his right arm as he shouted "Blood String: Glitch Strike!" Tokiwa yelled as Max dropped into his shadow at the last moment to evade that attack "he escaped" Tokiwa thought as he used his blood strings and spread them out all over the arena. "Blood String: Glitch Feild" Tokiwa said. Max jumped out but was affected by the glitch. "So this is glitch pain. Interesting. Shadow poison activate" Max said as Tokiwa's glitch quirk stopped working. "My neck feels numb. So this is what you did back then. That is playing dirty" Tokiwa said as he started to gain control back. They went back and forth for around twenty minutes until Max pinned Tokiwa down with his right arm cut off. "The winner is MAX!" Mic said. Max looked at where his arm used to be and saw it was bleeding out. "That's not too good" Max said as he flexed what was left of that arm so hard that it stopped bleeding. Max pulled out his new weapon and turned it into a robotic arm, he then jammed it in his arm. "Damn! That hurts!" Max yelled but soon got used to the feeling of his new robotic arm, he even changed it so it looks like his normal arm.
