Chapter Nine: Fearful Introduction

Bryce weren't you supposed to be covering me!" Tokwi shouted as multiple arrows were being shot at them "Projectile increase!" a man said as the rain of arrows multiplied "y'know it's kinda hard when there is so much shit to cover you from!" Bryce shouted as he grabbed the giant knife from his back "Chara swap out!" Bryce said as there was silence "right,then Bryce go!" Bryce said to himself as he jumped up and sent out slashes of D.T at the arrows. Bryce then coated the entire knife in D.T until it turned bright red. "Haah!" Bryce shouted as he sent out a massive slash that burned through the amount of D.T he could use at the moment "*huff* how's that!" Bryce shouted as he actually managed to take out their pursuers. Tokiwa used his strings to catch Bryce. Tokiwa flew around for 6 more hours until the night fell. "I've been preserving my stamina with one blaster for this long,I need some form of rest" Tokiwa thought as he landed the blaster somewhere in the thick woods. "*yawn* okay,i need to make a campfire" Tokiwa said as he made a shelter of thick bones and took a match from his pocket as he grabbed some sticks and threw some of his strings down and made a small fire with them. "Alright,Blaster,you're on guard duty,protect Bryce and myself in case something happens" Tokiwa said as his blaster started to whine "ah ah ah,no whining" Tokwia said as he put a bone shelter around Bryce and then went to sleep. Around an hour into the night a storm hits as in the flashes of lightning,two figures could be seen. "Should we approach him now?" a feminine voice asked as a masculine voice responded "in the morning,thts when their hell shall truly begin" the masculine voice said. The following morning Tokiwa woke up to see pink flower petals all over the place "what the" Tokwia thought as he picked one up but ended up cutting his finger "ah! Wait,there is only one person i know that leaves a trail of sharp sakura petals in the path,Byakuya must be nearby" Tokiwa thought as he looked over and saw that Bryce was gone. "Haah!" a voice shouted out as Byakuya and Bryce were in the midst of a battle "who even are you!?" Bryce shotued as he sent multiple D.T daggers at Byakuya "that is none of your concern,now let me through unless i'll be forced to hurt you child" Byakuya said Bryce stood his ground "over my dead body" Bryce said as he started to breathe heavily "fighting without Chara is a lot more exhausting then i thought,my body isn't used to her absence for long periods of time,she'd subconsciously regulate my quirk's power output and how much it drained me,she could aslo supply me with D.T as a battery of sorts. But now i have to do all of that,and concentrate on the battle" Bryce thought as Byakuya moved his hands to his pockets and walked towards Bryce. "Stay back!" Bryce shotued as he charged up a slash fo D.T "haah!" Bryce shouted as he sent the slash at Byakuya. "Senbonsakura Kageyoshi" Byakuya said as what looked like pink sakura petals swarmed around him and defended him from the slash. "Your attacks lack power,your moves lack speed and precision,even if i weren't using my quirk,this would be pitifully easy" Byakuya said as Bryce became annoyed "watch it!" Bryce shouted as he tried to dash at Bykuya but was sent flying into the air as these 'flower petals' rushed him. They took him up into the air and then drove him into the ground "i can also control the sharpness of these petals,if i were trying to hurt you,you'd be dead from that one attack" Byakuya said as he let Bryce get up "*huff* *huff* I can't beat him,i need to make sure that this creep dosen't get to Tokiwa,consdiering the bounty on his head,i wouldn't be surprised if this happened every night" Bryce thought as Tokiwa teleported between them "that's about enough,both of you" Tokiwa said as he looked at Byakuya "Bryce,this is the man that is supposed to train you. Byakuya this is Bryce,this is the person your supposed to be training" Tokwia said as Bryce fell to his knees in exhaustion "oh,okay then,that makes a little more sense" Bryce said as he exhaled loudly "his moves need a lot of wokr,along with other things. Other than that i see no problem in training him. What he lacks most is control though" Byakuya thought as he walked over to Tokiwa "i'd advise you to be very vigilant,the man you seek is near but things have changed over the time you['ve been gone. There are many forces at play here now,so watch yourself" Byakuya said as he picked up Bryce and threw him over his shoulder. "I'll aslo be taking him,but that was your warning,if you need me then you'll know where to find me" Byakuya said as Bryce groaned while unconscious "that only leaves me" Tokwia said as he made a blaster and set off deeper in the Xuanwu. "If i'm going to find him then i'd need to find Blossom" Tokiwa said. Around an hour into flying around Tokwia had come across a completely snowed and iced over part of Xuanwu where there was a man with long silver hair was sitting. "There he is" Tokiwa said as he dropepd down onto the snow. "Now Ms.Thirteen" the silver haired man said as Tokwia was immediately rushed by a girl with long french braided blue ponytail. "I knew this would happen!" Tokiwa thought as me made two bones to use as swords to fight her. The girl's fighting ability actually exceeded that of Tokiwa but in terms of strenght was at a disadvantage. It was like this for all of their stats. Making the battle as even as it can get. Tokwia snapped his fingers and sent a rush of bones at her. She easily dodged and slashed each one with her swords. "Fine then,i'd liek to see you dodge this!" Tokwia said as he made 3 blasters "haah!" Tokwia shouted as the blasters fired but were easily avoided and even sliced in half "oh shit!" Tokwia said as he used his strigns to try and keep his distance "hmm,this fighting style,it's oddly similar to…no,he died way back…right?" Ms.Thriteen thought as her facial expressions couldn't be seen through her mask. "Damn it,i'm not strong enough,i didn't want to use these here but i guess i have to" Tokiwa thought as he made a blaster under his feet and lauched himself into the air. "Glitch Activation: Blood Strings!" Tokiwa said as his blue strings turned red and bone spikes were summoned in the sky. "Bloody Bone Rush!" Tokiwa shouted as he attached the blood strigns to the bones and sent them raining down at incredible speeds. However Ms.Thirteen's swords flew infront of her and began to spin so fast that they were able to slice apart the on coming bones that were heading towards her. Tokiwa dropped down and put his hands together as he used a move that he almost forgot he had. "Glitch Blood Art: Rotating Thread" Tokiwa shouted as he sent a rotating wave of extremly sharp blood strings at Ms.Thirteen "there's no doubt about it then,this move…it's the same one that he used to take down Red Tooth in the past…he's alive!" Ms.Thirteen thought as she barley dodged but had he mask cut in half. Revealing her face "*huff* *huff* Blossom?!" Tokiwa shouted in shock as he saw his childhood friend's face once again "T-t-tokiwa" Blossom said as she slowly walked towards the exhausted Tokiwa. Blossom had got on one knee and lifted Tokiwa's face up "i can't belive it's you,it's been years,oh my god" Blossom said as Tokiwa started to remember her as he took a look at her face "wow,it's really been long hasn't it?" Tokiwa said as he was helped up "oh wow…you've really gotten tall,and shaped up a lot" Blossom said as she looked Tokiwa up and down. "Y-yeah,anyway i've come here cause i'm calling in a favor for training" Tokiwa said as the silver haired man spoke "i'll train you,but you'd better make it worth my time" the man said as Tokiwa nodded.
