Chapter 50: Hero

RANSACKIEL'S POV

The god-clerk pounded on the gleaming marble door in front of him.

"Please don't, Sir!" begged a pretty angel who was doing her best to keep people from bothering the beings inside the conference room.

She glanced around with her eight hundred eyes nervously, clearly hoping no one else would take notice of Ransackiel's unprofessional attitude. "Why don't you go have a nice cup of ambrosia? I'll give them a message as soon as they're done, Sir!"

Ransackiel crossed his arms. "No. I'm going to see the Council of Reincarnation right now, and 'no one' will stop me!"

This portion of Heaven currently had the appearance of a swirling galaxy in the vastness of deep space. Marble doors hung in the void everywhere, allowing heavenly beings access to their various departments.
