Fearing a Gollum invasion, the leaders of New Therian quarantine the city and implement a lockdown, sealing the city in a dome. Citizen turns to the humans of Elysium for survival, but she soon finds herself at odds with her programming, her creators, and what it means to be human. Fighting at Julian Bless' side, she discovers there’s more to the virus, the Federation Leadership, and her origins.

Bless felt disoriented from the blast that had blown him and Athan back into the vault. The cut on his head throbbed, and blood seeped into his left eye.


He recalled Athan running out to cover Citizen while he fended off Karr's attack. But then Citizen tossed one of the Gollum 2.0s back into the vault just as Karr closed the door. He looked around for the beast.


Command Octavian Karr stood at the door's control panel, grinning. "You're not smart enough to fool me, Bless. I knew your plan. I know you're going to blow this CPU. It is the only way you can bring the wall down. And now, this vault door is closed for good now. The emergency systems have kicked in. Nothing can open it, not even another well-designed hack."


"I guess you're going to die in here with me then."


"I don't think so. My project over there will take care of you first."
