Stay away from him.

The outburst and command of the Pharaoh made everyone swirled their heads towards him and widened their eyes in shock. They all thought the Pharaoh was going to overlook his sins when he talked about the new plan on how the crown prince and Koshari will live with Satiah. Well, Koshari went to far angering the Pharaoh and further making him to declare his arrest.

Queen Takhat opened her mouth slightly as the words of the Pharaoh rang in her head. Tears flow down her eyes at the thought of what will happen to her son if he is arrested again. This time, she might never see him again as he has committed a grave sin.

She fell to her knees and bowed her head to the ground. Her tears wet the ground, flowing down her cheeks in an uncontrollable manner. She raised her palms above her head and rubbed them together.

"Please your majesty, please forgive my son. Forgive Koshari." she pleaded.

The Pharaoh paid no attention to her, as his focus was on Koshari who was unbothered about the whole situation. He clenched his fist tightly and his jaw hardened at the thought of how he was disrespectful towards him. This time he wasn't going to let him go free for disgracing the name of the royals. He looked at the guards and his brows knitted together.

"What are you still doing? Arrest him...." he snapped at them, sending shivers through their bones. The guards who were slowly approaching Koshari, increased their pace. They were scared of Koshari but the Pharaoh anger is enough to push them off their foot.

Queen Takhat crawled to where the pharaoh stood and fell by his feet, clenching his legs tightly with shaky hands. She placed her forehead on his feet wetting it with her tears. "Please your majesty, forgive him." She cried.

The pharaoh looked at her and twisted his lips in disgust at the way she wet his feet with her tears and beg for her sinful son's crime. He pushed her away with his feet and looked back at Koshari, not minding how badly the queen fell, which earned her a scratch on her arm.

"You will also be arrested you woman if you plead for your vile son again. He deserves death and nothing more." the pharaoh spat in a cold voice, not sparing her a glance. He wasn't ready for her that moment and was only bent on Koshari leaving his sight.

Queen Takhat wiped silently staring at her son who was smiling at the whole situation and wasn't bothered that he was about to be arrested and taken away again. She knew she was been selfish pleading for her son even though she knew he had committed a grave sin and went against the law by marrying his brother's bride-to-be, changing the order of the gods. That is a sin worthy of death, but how can a mother watch her son die? The final punishment for his crime is death. Koshari is her life and only son and she couldn't imagine life without him. He was away from her for fifteen years and now that she finally see him again, he is about to be taken away from her. Call her selfish and wicked but she have to save her son.

She stood up and without thinking twice, stood in between the guards and Koshari, breathing heavily. "Stay away from him." She spat breathlessly. The anger in her eyes forced the guards to stop. Everyone present in the throne room were shocked seeing the new side of the queen which they have never seen before. Queen Takhat is always the quiet and reserved queen who doesn't speak up when she should and always feels guilty about everything. No one knew the last Queen could ever get angry for even a second.

Queen Baketmut was the most shocked one in the room, she wasn't expecting the quiet queen to try to stop the guards from arresting Koshari for the crimes he committed against her son and for ruining everything and her dreams. The shock on her face was immediately replaced with anger and disgust. How dare the queen beg for her sinful son? How could she even try to stop the guards? Queen Baketmut pressed her lips tight and strode towards queen Takhat.

"Enough of this drama you witch. Your sinful son deserves death and nothing more. Stop all this unnecessary act of yours and get out of the way of the guards." She said in a tight voice but Takhat ignored her and faced the Pharaoh who was getting more agitated with the drama going on. She wasn't going to back off this time.

"Baketmut is right this time Takhat, you shouldn't be so selfish and beg for your son. He might commit same crime again and we will have to regret why we didn't take any action now. We need to teach the younger ones by using him as an example. You don't have to beg for the release of your son when others have being affected, think about Karim too." The Queen Regnant said as softly as she could. She went on, "Koshari married Karim's bride and changed his destiny."

"Get him out of here now and any one who tries to stop you, push them away." The pharaoh said finally reaching his past limit with Takhat. He just wanted Koshari out of the throne room. Queen Baketmut pushed Takhat away, giving the chance to the guards to arrest Koshari who surprisingly wasn't objecting or hesitating. He followed them smiling mischievously.

Queen Takhat seeking her son being taken away, fell to the floor wishing for death. What is life without her son? It was all over for her now as her only hope is gone. Her pleas weren't heard, and just as usual, she is the last Queen who has no say in the palace.

The whole drama was rather amusing to Satiah as she watched in silent. It was truly getting interesting with her first mother in-law crying her eyes out and pleading for the release of her son, her second mother in-law fuming in anger at the first MIL for even pleading for her son's release and then the ruling queen, watching all this quietly. Of course, the two sons also made the little drama more lively with the both of them holding her tight like two possessive men trying to claim her for himself. Satiah knew it was because they didn't want to lose to the other by letting her go first. One had his usual amused face on and the other had an impassive countenance. What an interesting moment. The little moment was caught short when Koshari was taken away and Karim let go of her hand.

Slowly, she was beginning to understand the way the royals behave. The third Queen is someone who can be easily targeted and defeated. She have a kind heart that always feel to satisfy others and make them comfortable before she thinks of herself.

A corner of Satiah's lips lifted at the thought of the third Queen being an easy target. She will be done with her in few days. The second Queen, is hungry for power and can do anything for it. She is hungry for the queen Regnant position just like her. Queen Baketmut is the woman she needs by her side until she gets her desires.

The Queen Regnant is the only one who she haven't figured out yet. The Queen present gives her the chills which she don't know why. She looks like a kind and nice lady but she don't know why she shivers anytime they share an eye lock. There was something about the queen that she needs to figure out.

"I will do as the Pharaoh said and pretend to be Satiah's husband in the eyes of the people." Karim said clearly, speaking for the first time since Koshari walked into the room. He bowed at the Pharaoh and left the room.
