My pretty lady

Satiah ran out of her room in fright heading towards a door without knowing where she was going as all that was in her mind was to run away from the strange person she had touched. What if it wasn't human but a living mummy? She watched and read books about mummies in the future and her mind couldn't stop thinking that she touched a mummy and just laid beside it.

The thought of it made her heart race faster as she ran to safety. She got to the door and without knocking, opened it and rushed in. Satiah closed the door behind her and leaned on the door with her eyes closed. Her heart couldn't stop racing even though she was in a safer place, or so she thought. She placed her hand on her chest and took in deep breaths, trying to steady her racing heart which helped a lot. When she felt her heart calm, she opened her eyes and met the intense gaze of a pair of brown eyes on her.

She gasped and shook in fright, not expecting to see someone else. Wait... she looked around and noticed she was in someone's else bedroom. She pursed her lips and closed her eyes tight at the realization.

"Aren't you the new princess? What are you doing here by this hour?" he asked still fixing his gaze on her. The prince, like other nights, was busy, painting the night sky and never expected anyone to walk into his room as it was late already. Seeing the new princess rushed in, had put him in a shock.

Satiah opened her eyes and smiled nervously at him. She shamelessly entered a man's room. Even in the future, if someone sees her and post about it on social media, then she will be the most searched person on social media.

"Are you lost?" he asked. He looked away from her face and noticed the nightwear she had on, quickly he looked down and dared not to look at her again.

"I'm sorry for bothering you. It's just that, there is someone in my room." she said slowly with her face covered with embarrassment.

"Someone?"

She nodded and let out a low 'hmm....' to answer his question. She scratched the back of her neck and looked down, "I was lying on my bed when I touched someone and I ran out."

Did a molester sneaked into his new sister-in-law's room? It wouldn't be Karim or Koshari. He knows them too well. Koshari is on the run and wouldn't dare enter the palace which is heavily guarded, and Karim, he wouldn't dare do such a thing as he isn't shameless to take on his brother's wife even though she was intended to be his wife. Then who will be the intruder that entered her room and have the gut to sleep on same bed with the princess? He thought of a name but shrugged it off as he wouldn't dare do such a thing.

"I will escort you to your room and see who you are talking about." he said in a gentle and low voice. Satiah noticed how hard he was trying not to raise his head up and wondered why he became shy all of a sudden. When she walked in, he did looked at her but now, he is trying his best not to look at her.

She couldn't help but ask in her curiosity, "Why aren't you looking at me?"

"Armmm, you.....your....dress." he shuttered.

She looked at her nightwear and her eyes widened. She was wearing a long gown that showed everything she wore beneath. She had no bra on and so her bosoms where visible and her nips were erect and pointed. She only had a pantie beneath. She used her hand and covered her chest as her face flushed red in embarrassment.

"Don't take a peak." she said trying to cover her whole exposed body. She wished the ground could open up at that moment and swallow her. Just a night and she's facing lots of embarrassment from a single man.

"I dare not look at my brother's wife." he said and turned back with his head bowed. Quickly he walked to his bed and picked a shawl and carefully walked backwards to her. He stretched the shawl to her and she hastily collected it and covered her self with it. "I will follow you now and see who the stranger is." he said.

Satiah nodded and opened the door. Without wasting a minute, she walked out and walked to her room in fast paces.

The prince walked behind her keeping up with her steps. They got to her room and she opened the door slowly. The mummies in the books she read were faster than humans and could appear anywhere. Her heart started racing faster than it did when she ran away, that it was loud in the quiet room. The thought of walking into her death when she was still in the past, made her shiver in fear.

The young prince, Khepri, opened the door wider and walked in boldly without any form of fear. He turned on a candle and shined it on the face of the intruder. The prince sighed loudly and rubbed his eyes. The intruder is one of the prince and his brother with the same mother. He suspected the intruder to be him when Satiah told him about it but shrugged it off thinking he will still be out and will only come back to the palace after few days. But he was wrong, Prince Shabaka is always so shameless.

He looked at Satiah and bowed slightly at her.

"Forgive my idiotic brother. He must have missed his way again and came into your room." he pleaded.

Satiah looked at the man on her bed and back to the prince with a surprised look. He wasn't a mummy after all. She was only scared for nothing.

Prince Khepri slapped his brother's arm and clicked his tongue. "You should have stayed in the brothel when you are this drunk. You always do that so why did you have to come home and disturb our sister in-law?" he complained to the sleeping man who didn't reacted after been hit by the young prince. Khepri placed his hand on his shoulder and helped him up.

"Hey my pretty lady.... Wanna spend the night with me? I am the prince of Egypt and my father is the pharaoh. I can spoil you anyhow you like and even give you half of the kingdom." the drunk man said, with his eyes closed and his cheek swollen and reddened, while pointing at her.

Khepri laughed nervously and brought his brother's hand down. "Sorry about that, he is just heavily drunk and will come back to his senses tomorrow. I will make sure he gives an apology to you once he wakes up." he said and dragged his brother out.

Satiah watched as the young prince took his brother, who seems to be older than him, out of her bedroom. Just a day in the palace and it's been filled with a lot of dramas.

She sighed heavily and went back to bed. How will her life be now in the palace? She thought about it and slowly drifted into the cool hands of deep sleep.

.....

Three doors away from Satiah's room. A room covered in the darkness and had only one source of light which only shined on the face of the crown prince, whose dark eyes were fixated in the dark space. His hair was loosen and allowed to fall. His eyes was like a burning inferno that could melt anything it fix itself on and cannot be quenched easily.

Prince Karim's fist were tightened on his thigh and his powerful jaw was clenched. Like an angry deity losing his patient but still trying hard not to burst out and kill everyone. The event that happened kept playing itself in his head and the more he thought of what Koshari did, the more the hunger to kill him and watch his bones burn in a fiery furnace increase in him.

The crown prince have been in that position since he left the throne room and haven't moved a bit not even moved his eyes until night fall.

Koshari had done and committed a more greater crime this time and he will make him cry for mercy.
