Chapter 32

"Mom, I miss you, I miss home," She sniffed. Ariana felt like a big baby, but she didn't care. All she wanted was to come home and fall at her mother's leg, feel her mother's soft hands run through her hair, A luxury that could never be bought, no matter how rich you were.

"We all miss you, Ari, I need you to stop crying," Mrs. Brown said as she heard her daughter's silent sob. She didn't want to say it but her cries were like bruises on her heart. Ariana was in pain, She has never been the one to bear the burden of pain. Even as a child, Mrs brown was somewhat proud that her daughter was able to hold it for so long. If she never called she would have carried her pain to the end.

She had grown to become a strong woman. "I saw the news, I just thought I should call, how is it with Ethan?" Mrs. Brown said with hints of stress in her voice.

The call of his name bought back a certain emotion she was trying to suppress. Anger. She didn't want to talk about him.
