Chapter 41: Eternal Romance Part 1

Logan had been fighting his instincts from the moment he had cooked for her. His fangs ached to sink into her flesh, while his blood boiled. Her life’s essence seemed to sing to him like a Siren’s song, making it increasingly difficult for him to not feed from her.

It was particularly worse when she slept beside him, to the point, he almost suggested that she stay in a guest room. However, he knew that she wouldn’t take a liking to that concept. She wasn’t the type to let that happen. If anything, she begged for him to take her.

He slammed his fist down and accidently broke his crystal glass against a side table, catching Alex’s attention from his book.

“You know it’s better to just get it over with than to suffer, brother.” Alex licked his index finger and turned the page of his novel.

“I won’t do that to her,” Logan growled between his clenched teeth.
