"Also, you had this pendant on." He handed the pendant over to him. Alex observed the pendant and Throne couldn't stay still inside him. He remembered their time as a baby, so he remembered the pendant when Hunter made it for his son.
"You have every right to be angry, it wasn't our intention to lie, we just wanted you to be old enough." Roseline pleaded. Alex already knew the truth and he wasn't much shaken when they decided to tell him the truth, but the lingering smell of his mother shook him. He could feel a part of him longing for his mother that sacrificed so much to make sure he survived.
"Can I just go to my room for now?" He spoke lowly as he held the jade and the blanket in his hand.
"Sure son, you can retire for the night." Joseph knew Alex needed time alone to figure things out.
