The exam was getting closer. And, oh! Geez, it looks like I wasn't ready for my birthday. The only thing why I hate my birthday is, I can't feel how nice it is to be queen one day on my birthday. People say the number thirteen is unlucky. And I had regretted my birth on the thirteenth. I had thought and hoped that at that time Mom would delay my birth. The fourteenth or the other is fine, as long as it's not the thirteenth.

Well, how it all happened. I can't regret my birthday, because I'm already in this world, walking the school corridors with Candice raving about the joys of the graduation prom—and a little regretful about breaking up with Trevor, because she didn't have a prom partner after breaking up with Trevor. But Candice is a Candice who has plenty of access to invite anyone to prom. Sometimes without asking first, many boys from this school have asked her to be a partner.
