I blinked in surprise at Justin's screams in the kitchen. I hastily jogged to the kitchen and already saw him pushing Chocola's body off the table until it made the kitten fall.

"Justin!" I shouted at him. I glared at him giving him a warning. How dare he hurt this kitten! But… I also had the heart for Thumbelina to almost drown her chihuahua.

Still, he's evil for pushing my kitten!

I picked up Chocola from the floor and held it tightly against my chest. My lips pursed in annoyance. Instead of apologizing, Justin rolled his eyes up.

"She got on the table," he said pointing at Chocola with an annoyed look. "And almost snatched up the cupcakes we're going to give to Aunt Mary's foster children."

"She's just an innocent kitten, Justin. Please." I sighed softly.
