The next day, Emily and Eric went to church for Brenda's funeral. It was not made public since Emily White had already lost her parents a while ago. Jerry and Jude also arrived early with a few people Emily did not recognize.

Since the kidnapping incident, Jerry and Emily had not seen each other. It was only after Jerry was rescued that he realized the woman he thought was his mother since waking up from a coma was actually his mother's twin sister.

Hearing the story about their separation and what happened later also made him sad. He felt that he missed the opportunity to have two mothers.

Jerry wore a disguise so that no one, especially anyone from the Brown family, would recognize him.

As soon as they met, Jerry pulled Emily into a hug. Both had lost their parents, now, all they had was each other.

Watching Emily hug some random guy made Eric jealous. He was standing right there, yet Emily did not even introduce him.
