"Please don't stop," she said in a shallow, begging voice. 
"I won't," Lucien replied with his half-closed eyes. She could feel that he, too, was feeling the same euphoria and desire she felt.

The Vampire Prince's Pretend Bride

Lucien went out of Blair's bedroom and even outside the castle, still looking for her. Yet he couldn't find Blair anywhere even though he knew that it was supposed to be easy for him to grasp her scent and eventually find her. He somehow realized that he hadn't sensed her nor sniffed her smell around. 


If Blair was trying to escape, she wasn't supposed to be far enough in her human form, and in case she had shifted then, the more it would be easy for Lucien to find her with her scent. He had searched everywhere and every corner of the castle, even the wardrobe. 


Nevertheless, she still was nowhere to be found. 


'Wardrobe,' Lucien thought. He actually forgot to check Blair's room wardrobe. Could she be hiding there? However, if she had, he indeed would find her through her smell. 


He wondered if he would give up but still had to keep going. 'What if Blair was in danger again and someone took her?' he thought.
