INDULGE

"Does that mean that he wasn't completely healed and he needed to take more of my blood?" Blair asked Maev, and she nodded.

Blair understood. She knew that Lucien had only taken too little from her blood, that she hadn't felt him suck her wrist. Maybe he had only taken the drip. It was just a drop yet the effects were strong enough to make him able to speak again.

Maybe he only needed a little more to heal him.

'A little more won't kill me and will completely heal Lucien,' Blair thought.

What was there to lose?

"Then let's do it again," Blair was smiling when she said to Lucien.

Lucien couldn't understand what he felt seeing Blair that way. She was so innocent, so kind, or maybe just so naive.

"We can't do it again, Blair. You don't understand the risk," Lucien sighed. Although he was feeling better, he still struggled to speak. “You can die.”
