Great Dong Forest

Shi Xun opened his eyes slowly, his tears pouring, as his Brother Shi Yan fled after entirely absorbing the Demon Jewel. Despite this, he refused to cry and bowed to his fallen brother's body.

After burying the body, he dashed over to the Hut and packed his belongings. From a little ring to a Short Dagger, not to mention his teared clothing and destroyed shoes.

He exited the hut and walked to the far end of the village.

"Aunts and uncles! I'm going to save you all! I'll do it! Goodbye for the time being!! He hurried out of the settlement and towards the path of the Great Dong Forest, just as he had said.

...

Six days of walking later,

"I've been walking for six days; I should arrive soon." Shi Xun carefully examined the paper map in his hands before looking in the direction indicated by the trees along the roadside. He realised he was already near to the Great Dong Forest.

Shi Xun killed several lesser monsters and Demons while traveling, but none as powerful as the Leopard Demon who emerged that day. He employed his Five Star Techniques to cultivate his Jewel, and it appears that his body accepted the Jewel, allowing him to continue his training. However, during his two times breakthrough, he had two different colored stars emerge behind his head whenever he activated his skills, rotating in a vertical orbit around his head. One was Silver in color that awakened in his First Break through after that day, he left the village, and the other is a Purple Colored Star, which appeared yesterday, at his second break through.

Shi Xun had no idea why, and he hoped to find out soon. Now, he could say, he is in Tier-2 for himself, as nobody in the world knows that this kind of Cultivation is possible or not

Shi Xun had disguised into his Demon Form, yet he still looked like a human with demon traits, which was adorable for him.

With short black hair and his most appealing characteristics, clear black eyes and long eyelashes, as well as his disguise, a pair of Black dragon wings with Gold and Silver patterns on them, activates when he tries to use them.

It appeared to be the Sky Dragon Emperor's wings. Now that the Jewel is in Shi Xun's possession, he is also the heir to this Bloodline. However, for whatever reason, it did not collide with his Shi Bloodline, as it stayed in the lower meridians, and the Shi Bloodline in the upper Meridians, with a vortex that was formed inside the consciousness.

You may ask, that he has wings but why didn't he fly, because, Shi Xun couldn't fly and well, he was afraid of heights.

Shi Xun wiped the sweat from his brow as he stepped towards the woods beside the road. The sound of rushing water began to vibrate through the air as soon as he sat down in the shadow of a tree, expecting to meditate and regain his Demon Jewel. Shi Xun immediately sprung up in joy when he heard this sound.

The presence of water indicated that he may change his way of life! since he hasn't been able to bathe since he left the village.

Shi Xun hurriedly closed his eyes and listened intently for the source of the water. He utilized his Golden Energy as someone who could nurture the energy of the world, as his six senses were considerably stronger than an ordinary human's.

He soon determined the source of the sound of water and moved cautiously into the woodland. He was being cautious not because the ground in the forest was uneven, but because he was afraid that his tattered clothes might be torn even more by the thorns in the forest.

He arrived at his destination without traveling more than 300 metres, which turned out to be a tiny creek around four metres wide. The refreshing water within was so clear that you could see all the way to the bottom, and it felt both restful and invigorating.

Shi Xun let out a happy cheer, quickly stripped naked, and leapt into the stream, which was just two feet deep. He'd last taken a bath two days before. The sweat from the previous two days of travel had covered his body, and having a bath in this cold and clean water was simply a delight that couldn't be more calming.

After getting out,

He changed into clean clothing, then washed his previous garments in the stream before hanging them on a nearby tree branch. He then snatched a three-foot-long tree limb from the ground.

He drew a dagger from its sheath at his waist with his right hand. The knife was around forty centimetres long, with a turquoise blade. The scabbard was made of thick leather, but he couldn't tell if it came from an animal or a Demon.

The dagger's handle was around fifteen centimetres long and had no attractive ornamentation on it—it gave a simple and unadorned impression. It not only seemed natural to grip, but it was also really comfy.

When he got a brilliant feeling flooded his entire body. He inwardly thought, "Since I've already arrived at the Great Dong Forest, I'll simply have a good rest here"

And yes, he slept like a rock, under a tree.
