17. Angry And Disappointed

"Let go of my daughter!!" shouted Adam, who did not want his daughter to make out with Caesar.

"Dad…,"

Without another word, the father immediately grabbed Jasmine's hand. He didn't want to listen to the princess's explanation; he had already tried to keep Jasmine away from Caesar. However, what he had done did not separate the two of them at all.

"Father, I…"

"No more talking!" The father immediately pulled Jasmine and left Caesar.

Caesar was speechless because he saw Mrs. Angela staring at him. The gaze was so sharp, but there was disappointment in the look in her eyes. Without saying much, Caesar left Jasmine's house.

Camila smiled when she saw what was happening. She walked over and approached Caesar.

"Let's go," Camila said softly while holding Caesar's hand.

Caesar didn't answer anything. He just kept quiet and followed what Camila said. The father, who looked very angry, just sat staring at Jasmine. He didn't understand what his daughter had done.

The mother entered the room, and she saw her husband and daughter just silent. However, the aura that emanated was so gloomy.

"What actually happened?" asked the mother as she closed the bedroom door.

"Ask your daughter. She's gone too far," The father replied with a sigh, then got up and walked out.

Jasmine watched her father leave, and she saw the disappointment on her father's face. She looked at her mother and didn't know what to say.

"I'm sorry," Jasmine said quietly.

"Tell me, what happened? Why does Dad look so angry?" The mother asked with such great curiosity.

"I love him and I want to live with him," said Jasmine.

"Are you crazy! He already has a girlfriend," cried the mother, who was very surprised by what Jasmine had said.

"Yeah I'm crazy and I want him to be my husband," Jasmine replied while crying.

Jasmine loves Caesar even though she knows that the man already has a lover and many women close to him. She thought that in her heart, there would only be one Caesar, and no other man could replace her.

The mother looked at Jasmine, and she felt that Caesar could not make her daughter happy even though he was her student. She didn't want her beloved daughter to live in misery with a man who couldn't be faithful to just one woman.

"Calm yourself and don't come out of your room," said the mother with emphasis.

The mother walked out of the room and closed the door tightly, and she wanted to lock her daughter in the room. However, the intention stopped when Diana arrived.

"There is no need to lock it from the outside. I'll look after her for tonight," Diana said.

"Take care of her, and don't let her out of her room!" The mother said, then left Diana.

Diana entered Jasmine's room, and she saw her best friend just silent in sadness. She had predicted something like this would happen.

"Is this what you want? Make your parents sad and disappointed?" Diana said as she threw her body on the bed.

"I don't want to make them sad and disappointed. I only love him, am I wrong?" answered Jasmine while asking Diana a question.

"Your love is not wrong. Maybe you have to choose between Caesar's love but that man is not right for you," Diana replied while staring at the ceiling.

Jasmine got up, and then she walked towards the bathroom. Her heart ached at the disappointment of her parents. She didn't feel the tears coming out of her eyes. It is the first time to make her father disappointed and sad.

The next day Jasmine woke up with both eyes caused because she cried all night. She felt sorry for what had happened that made her father disappointed in her.

"Come in," Jasmine said to someone knocking on her door.

The door to the room opened, and a maid walked closer, and she said, "Mrs. Angela, waiting for you in the dining room."

"Go on with your work, I'll be right down to the dining room," Jasmine said to the waitress.

The maid nodded then she walked out of the room and closed the door tightly.

"Let's go see Mom," Jasmine said to Diana, who had just come out of the bathroom.

Diana nodded then she followed Jasmine into the dining room. Jasmine had already prepared with everything if her mother and father would ignore her or scold her.

Jasmine only saw her mother, and she didn't see her father, who would usually be waiting for her to have breakfast together. In her mind, she asked if her father was so disappointed that she didn't want to have breakfast with her.

"Your father is gone. Sit down!" said the mother, who knew that her daughter was looking for her father.

Jasmine sat in her usual chair, as did Diana, who already knew where she was supposed to be sitting. It was so quiet, and no one spoke, that Jasmine felt even more guilty.

The mother's cell phone vibrated. She immediately looked at her cell phone. She was so surprised that she finished her breakfast quickly.

"Remember, don't go anywhere today! If you leave, then I will be very disappointed!" said mother and then walked away, leaving Jasmine.

"What's wrong with him? Why is she in such a hurry?" Jasmine muttered, which Diana could still hear.
