Friendly Spar

I left home early in the morning. I already planned out my schedule for the day. I have been saving the random boxes for the past five days as the chances of dungeon Keys appearing increased more when you have lots of them.

And hey today is Saturday. My lucky day.

First I need to complete my daily Quest and then I will visit the old school building. I hope their training is worth the time. I checked the time on my watch, it reads 4:30 am. Rias want me to be present at the old school building by 6 am, 1 hour is enough to complete the whole quest, but I usually do it at my own slow pace, I stretched my body and slowly started to jog.

Those books that Rias gave me were quite informative, I learned about the Great War, the three factions & the different pantheons out there.

Devils are beings that originated from the Underworld created by the Original Lucifer using the body of his wife Lilith in order to create a military force to destroy God and the Angels and realized his personal ambition for world domination which consisting of the High-Class Devil nobles of the 72 Pillars and Extra Demons and the countless armies of Middle and Low-Class Devil soldiers under them. The total life span of a Devil is approximately 10,000 years.

The Devils were originally ruled by the Four Great Satans prior to their death in the Great War. Following the end of the Great War, the descendants of the original Satans wanted to continue the Great War but were faced with opposition by other Devils, most prominently the Bael clan, who assumed authority after the death of their leaders.

This started a civil war between the Devils with the descendants of the original Satans losing the war and a new government was formed among the Devils. The new government then appoints four new Satans through strength and accomplishment in the civil war. So as you can guess Rias' brother is not the actual Lucifer, just some super powerful dude who got appointed as the Leader to lead their race.

After the formation of the new Devil government, Ajuka Beelzebub developed the Evil Pieces system to help replenish the decreased armies of the Devils, eventually creating the Rating Games.

According to the book, devils have a low birth rate, the chances of getting pregnant are like chances of getting a Legendary out of thousands pulls. Ajuka, this guy created these pieces that have the capability to change any race into a Devil.

Son of a bitch, this guy is. He is definitely the main reason many humans get targeted by the supernatural, both fallen and angels do not want a powerful sacred gear user to land in the hands of the devil, so they either get rid of them or groom them to fight for their cause.

Later in the morning when I arrived at the old school building, everyone has already gathered before the building. Rias was wearing a red Jersey, Akeno wore purple jogging clothes, Kiba wore all white running clothes, Koneko wore the kid's gym clothes and Saeko wore a green shirt and Skintight leggings.

Except for Koneko, others have their hair tied in a bun.

"You are late." Rias said while pointing at her watch.

"On the way here I found a nice ramen vendor, the smell is too intoxicating for me to ignore as I haven't eaten breakfast. The food there is even better than that big ramen shop close to the metro station." Koneko's head perked up on my words.

"It's cheap and fresh. The broth is filled with so many flavors. I ended up devouring three bowls." Much to everyone's surprise, Koneko approached me with hurried steps.

She pulled the hem of my hoodie. "Where is it located?" She asked in her monotonous voice.

"The old shopping center, they opened their shop right before the mall." Koneko bows her head as if to say thank you.

Man Japanese people are way too humble.

"What is that by the way." I pointed at the massive glowing circle on the ground, it's width is big enough for all of us to fit in.

"Teleportation Circle." Akeno said.

"Now that everyone was here, everyone step into the circle." Akeno tells while by using her hand. I walked to the center of the circle with others.

Akeno who was beside me started to cast something underneath her breath. Then, the magic circle starts emitting blue and white lights.

And bam next second I found myself in front of a mansion made from wood. The mansion was built on top of a mountain with rich plant life and a nice open area.

"Now then let's start our training outside right away," Rias announced.

"Heup!" I observed Saeko training with Kiba, they are exchanging blows after blows with their bamboo sword.

Saeko seems to be the more experienced one but due to the level difference, she was getting pushed back. But in my eyes they are way too slow, I can read their movements and even see their flaws.

Koneko was doing some serious weight lifting, she was deadlifting boulder four times her size. Rias and Akeno are doing some basic stretches.

There some massive jiggly-wiggly actions are currently underway. This world has gravity-defying boobs, I can now die in peace fellas as you can see behind me there is some gluteus maximus shaking going on.

"Are you interested in a friendly spar?" Kiba asked me after Saeko couldn't find any more strength to continue on.

"Sure kid."

"We are the same age," Kiba stated while he sighed in frustration. "You prefer Gayboi over kid?"

"I will seriously punch you." Kiba glared at me with eyes filled with frustration.

"Whatever Kid." I grabbed the offered bamboo sword and we moved into an open area. Everyone stopped whatever they are doing and poured all of their attention on us.

Unlike Kiba who was serious, Issei displayed a relaxed vibe, instead. Rias was confident in her knight, she knew his skills are quite refined, but Issei on the other hand can't be that experienced in sword fighting, she thought. Kiba had trained in swordsmanship for most of his life, there is no way Issei would be able to defeat him in a sword fight.

But somewhere at the back of her mind Rias knew that they have absolutely no knowledge about his capabilities, anyone in her group could take on a low class fallen Angel with ease, so what Issei did is nothing to make a fuss about but she was still grateful for his actions.

Without a moment's delay, Kiba closed the distance with inhumane speed and he thrust the wooden sword at Issei's head.

Issei evaded the sword by tilting his head out of the way, and then he slammed the back of the handle directly into Kiba's stomach.

The strength gap was so huge that Kiba was launched back, tumbling into the ground quite aggressively.

"Next time if you aim for my head, I will break your kneecaps, kid." Saeko and others cringed, just the thought of it was enough to send chills down their spine.

Rias who was some doubts about Issei's potential now felt at ease, he is strong, how strong she was yet to see.

"Stand up kid." Kiba Groaned and shakily stood up on his feet while supporting his whole body with the Bamboo Sword.

"You need time kid?" Kiba's eyes gleamed with determination. He raised his sword and pounced at Issei. The distance closed up in an instant, he swung his in a horizontal slash.

Issei raised his sword and blocked the attack dead in its track. Kiba couldn't even push the white-haired young man a cm back.

"You blocked it?" Kiba's eyes trembled in shock, he have put all his strength behind that attack but his opponent stopped with only one hand.

"Try harder kid." Kiba immediately created some distance away from Issei. Kiba continued to rain down his attacks but not one of them could connect to his target, heck Issei didn't even move from this spot, every attack was repelled by him with extreme swift strikes.

Rias and others looked at the display of skills with genuine shock, they could somewhat follow Kiba's attacks but Issei, on the other hand, was so fast that it became too hard to follow those movements with naked eyes.

"Do you only know how to dodge?" Issei smiled at Kiba's nonsensical words as he speed up the rates of attacks forcing Issei to dodge them by the smallest margins.

"Kid what are you trying to prove here? Make me reveal my cards with shit-talking. It won't work, try harder kid." Kiba clicked his tongue in frustration and rushed toward Issei with his sword aimed at Issei's head, once again he was going for a thrust.

Right at the moment when the weapon was about to connect, Issei disappeared out of everyone's sight. They neither can sense him nor can hear his footsteps, as if all signs of his existence have been erased from the face of the world.

"Behind You, Kid..." Issei's voice came right from behind Kiba's unguarded back. "If this was a real fight I would have slit your throat long ago, beheaded your little head, chopped off all your limbs, sliced you in half, there are so many ways I could have killed you."

And just like that the atmosphere changed, cold sweat drops formed on Rias and Akeno's forehead as they realized how easy it is for Issei to Kill them.

"I forfeit!" Kiba dropped the bamboo sword aside and raised his hand, he obviously understood the massive power gap between him and Issei. "You are no fun, kid." Issei made himself visible again.

"You gather the Demonic power within you by drifting the aura that covers your whole body. You have to concentrate and feel the wave of Demonic power." I listened to Akeno's explanation as she teaches Saeko how to manipulate Demonic power.

It did take some time but eventually, about 30 minutes later she has gathered a mass of Demonic power in her hands. A purplish colored demonic power.

"...Now let's change those demonic power into the fire, water, and lightning. You can make this by imagination it, however, it will be easier for beginners to actually move fire and water using their demonic power." Akeno summoned her demonic power and sends it into the water inside the water bottle.

The water instantly formed into the shape of a spike and ripped the water bottle from the inside. It was a sight to behold but meh it didn't impress me that much.
