Chapter 17 Second Chance

'All this time I endured and continued to love the same person, for many years. It's very hard to forget. He is always present in my night. I can't express how deep this feeling is for him, my every attempt to forget him is always in vain.'

Rina continued to swim. The screams of the people who were on the shoreline did not respond to him at all.

'But then again, he never respects my feelings. I'm heartbroken again. What's more, I have to marry a very person.' Rina did not continue her words from the heart.

'I can't even say how despicable his behavior is in the eyes of the world. My hope, if I was still given life. May Allah correct my husband's behavior. May Allah open the door of his heart. I hope I can love him, he can love me just the way I am. And may Allah forgive his sins.'

"Rina is back...!" Eza shouted. Everyone just watched and no one acted. Even Intan was very satisfied when Rina swam to save a child who was swept away by the waves.

'Allah is the most forgiving. Allah will forgive those who truly repent. Allah always opens the door of forgiveness until life is separated from the body. I don't know, I'll come home safely or not. May Allah forgive my sins.'

Rina looked relieved when she was able to grab the child's hand. Rina swims with a boy who is about six years old.

With all her might she swung her arms and kept moving her feet. But because the boy was unconscious he objected.

'Huft... huft... why does it look so far away.' Rina complained like that when she saw the sand of a very far away beach.

It was difficult to breathe, the eyes already felt sore from being exposed to seawater. Seeing all the fireflies Rina weakened.

He tried to hold on even though the stairs were so drained. Rina doesn't give up easily. He allowed his hand again. Seeing a young man who was not seen by his eyes. Grabbed his hand.

'What is he? What is Eza? Or someone else?' Rina asked in her heart trying to confirm the young man who had helped her. Rina slowly closed her eyes.

That vague face carried the unconscious Rina.

[From a distance I always watch you. From the window in the classroom. My eyes are always looking for you. Your charm never fades. Even when you insult me. For a moment I was sad and tried to hate you. But I always can't.]

There you can see a girl watching a cool young man playing basketball. The girl was fascinated by the handsome young man who was busy with his activities.

Because she always saw her heart's dream, the girl drew with the details of the young man's face.

Stress!

Crack!

Suddenly a girl came and tore the book.

"Don't ever dream that you can have it. Because, you have no charm," the girl explained with an evil smile, then walked away.

'Aren't you often heartbroken? Why are you not deterred?' he asked himself with tears dripping from his eyes.

The dream boy passed before him as he picked up the scattered papers. The boy didn't care at all. He was so busy talking to his friends that he stepped on what was already in the girl's picture.

Broken heart and shattered to pieces. The tightness gripped his chest. The young man just walked past him.

"Hi." The young man took the paper with the painting on it. There was a feeling of happiness when the young man handed the paper to the girl.

The young man was indeed very handsome, with white skin, a sharp nose, not too thick lips, white teeth. And his sharp, clean eyes. The spiky hair completes it all. That gaze made the girl speechless, nervous, and constantly nervous.

"I don't like you drawing my face. I also don't like seeing you always watching me. I'm uncomfortable. Were you the one who sent the letter yesterday too? Don't do that again. I don't like it." The young man pulled out all the papers that the girl had taken.

Very surprised by the girl, she just stayed silent and felt her heart being torn apart when she was reprimanded. She covered her trembling lips, her eyes already tearing up. When he saw the young man tore up and threw it in the trash.

"Huh. Huh." Rina spouted water from inside her mouth. Eza stood up reflexively. Rina slowly opened her eyes. "Whoops, hooks, hooks."

"Can you not be careless! You should have asked the coast guard for help! Why are you reckless like that! If your life is in danger. I am very sorry because your mother has asked me to take care of you," cried Eza annoyed. Rina just looked at him sharply while continuing to cough.

"Heh ... don't care so much. Why should you care? And why do you have to take care of me! Isn't my future husband Dirga?! Then why are you so enthusiastic about me. I don't like it when you pay attention to me. I'm uncomfortable." Rina immediately stood up even though her head was still dizzy. He opened his eyes wide.

"Honey...." Intan saw Eza's condition. "Eh, you are! Women don't know how to benefit. Instead of thanking you instead." Intan hasn't finished speaking yet. Rina looks at her sharply.

"I didn't tell him to save me!" Rina exclaimed walking fast. Intan looks annoyed.

'I said something you said to me in high school. The thing that hurts the most is when you ask me not to pay attention to you. When you tear the paper on which I have drawn your face.' Rina shed tears and walked quickly.

"Thank you. I hope you are happy," said a woman who was sobbing in front of Rina.

"Next time, be careful ma'am. Don't let your guard down," said Rina. The mother nodded slowly Rina immediately left.

'There is no more hope. If in the end I'm not matched with him. I thought you had taken my life. But it turns out you gave me a chance to live. May this second chance be happy to come. Amen,' thought Rina who then looked at Dirga.

His steps stopped when he saw Dirga drinking wine and accompanied by two women. He returned limp with what he saw.

He just took a deep breath and then walked quickly. A young man stood before him.

"This is Mbak's cellphone," said the young man, handing Rina's cellphone. Rina accepted with a curt smile leaving at a brisk pace.

Rina stopped checking her phone and then typed. [I'm going home first.] The chat was sent to Eza's number. Rina immediately chose a motorcycle taxi. He saw a motorcycle rickshaw driver who was no longer young. Rina approached the grandfather.

"Is Grandpa willing to take me?" asked Rina gently.

"With pleasure. Come on," said the old man. Rina immediately climbed into a motorcycle rickshaw. The old man started to run his old motorbike.
