25 Meeting old friends

It hurts when you've done your best, but it's still not enough. That's what Bramantio now feels, his heart is shattered like broken glass falling from the sky.

How can a father's feelings not be crushed when he realizes that he is not able to be a support for his baby? Until he doesn't know if Sabrina has passed the toughest point when watching Cantika and Reyno get married.

Bramantio tries to scrape his wound and will make amends for what he has done to his daughter, Sabrina Anastasya Bramantio.

Every day after coming home from work, the well-built man always spends time circling the area around Central Jakarta, hoping to find his daughter.

However, the result is always nil. One day he felt exhausted and intended to pull over for a moment at a coffee shop to enjoy his favorite coffee hoping to relieve his boredom a little.

After a few minutes, he spent time alone in the coffee shop. Suddenly a baritone voice called his name, the voice seemed familiar to Bramantio's ears. He quickly turned towards the source of the voice and how surprised Bramantio was when he saw his old friend whom he had not seen for so many years.

"Hey, Yuz! How are you?" A flabbergasted Bramantio welcomed the arrival of his friend who accidentally met at the coffee shop where he rested.

"Hey, Bram!" The man put his arm around Bramantio and they patted each other on the shoulder in joy.

"It's been a long time, Bram. Haven't seen each other, it seems like it's been almost 10 years," continued the white man who has the same age and stature as Bramantio.

"Yes, Yuz. I didn't expect to meet here. Please have a seat, Yuz," said Bramantio as he pulled the chair next to him inviting his friend to sit down.

This friend of Bramantio's full name is Yuzril Assegaf, a President and Director of a well-known company in Central Jakarta.

The two of them have been friends for a long time, from high school to college at the same university. Until both of them were busy working and had not seen each other for 10 years.

Yuzril Assegaf has one child named Azka Purnama Assegaf.

Yes, Yuzril didn't know at all that the domestic helper who worked at his house was the daughter of his best friend who he was currently looking for.

After 10 years of not seeing each other, they have forgotten about the child of their best friend because of the long distance so many changes have happened to Sabrina's and Azka's faces.

"Yuz, want some coffee?" said Bramantio as he called the waiter to order Yuzril's favorite coffee.

"Yes," said Yuzril, nodding his head.

"Where do you live now, Bram?" Connect Yuzril.

"Still in this area, Yuz. Are you still at the old house? It's because we haven't seen each other for a long time," replied Bramantio

Yuzril, who is always busy going back and forth, made the intensity of the meeting even more difficult.

"Yes, it's the same, Bram. It's still the old house," said Yuzril.

The two friends chatted intimately, it had been so long since they had seen each other that they remembered the times during college and the hard work of building their respective businesses. Yuzril did not know that Sabrina was Bramantio's daughter because the last time he saw Sabrina was when she was in the 6th grade.

The two of them once dreamed of getting their sons and daughters matched but without coercion. All of this just wants to strengthen their relationship that has been woven for decades. However, the plan seemed to be starting to fade because of the busyness of each one who did not take it seriously.

However, Yuzril suddenly thought about Bramantio's daughter.

"Oh yes, Bram. How many children do you have now?" Yuzril asked as soon as he took a sip of his favorite coffee.

"I have two children, Yuz," answered Bramantio with a faint smile remembering one of his daughters who did not know where she was.

"Wow, it's great that there are only two of you, cool," Yuzril replied with a smile not as thin as Bramantio.

"Male or female, Bram," continued Yuzril.

"Both girls, Yuz," answered Bramantio this time his smile was not so thin, but he started to get carried away.

"Wow, that's cool, Bram! Try introducing one of them to my son, maybe it's a good time," said Yuzril in amazement.

"Don't you remember, Bram? In college, we used to dream about being big. Do you remember, Bram?" Yuzril continued, discussing the memories of his college days with Bramantio.

"Oh yes, Yuz. Remember." Bramantio smiled remembering his youth.

Hearing his friend Bramantio's words, he began to daydream, if only Sabrina was by his side, maybe Yuzril's offer could make medicine so that Sabrina could recover her feelings that had been destroyed by her son-in-law, Reyno.

However, he was unable to firmly answer Yuzril's question because until this moment Sabrina had not been found.

"One is already married, Yuz. Only one has not yet arrived," answered Bramantio in a flat tone.

"Okay, let's arrange a schedule some time so we can meet up," Yuzril suggested quickly.

"Yes, maybe later, Yuz. Next month maybe my daughter comes home. Because she is still abroad and has an assignment from her office." Bramantio reasoned.

"Oh, I see, it's okay, Bram. I'll tell you later," said Yuzril casually.

They were so busy talking until finally, it was getting late which required them to end the accidental meeting. They separated and drove their four-wheeled vehicle toward their respective residences.

It's unexpected if Yuzril still remembers the hopes of the two. If Sabrina had not disappeared, perhaps Bramantio would not have lied about Sabrina's reason for being abroad.

Bramantio had arrived at his house and lay down on the sofa in the living room. Then he reached into his jacket pocket and took out his cell phone to call someone.

"Assalamualaikum, Ren!" said Bramantio to the person he called. He called Reyno.

"Waalaikumsalam, dad!" Reyno replied.

"Is there Cantika near you?" asked Brambtio quickly.

"Nothing, Dad. Cantika is in the toilet," Reyno replied.

"Have you got any information about Sabrina?" asked Bramantio who was still annoyed with Reyno.

"Not yet, Dad. But I'll keep trying to find Sabrina," said Reyno who immediately hung up the phone one-sidedly. Cantika has come out of the toilet and she doesn't want her wife to hear her talk.

"Call with who, dear?" asked Cantika with a glazed look full of inquiry.

"From, Father. Asking how you are." Reyno reasoned, he didn't want any more fights between the two of them.

Reyno began to circumvent Sabrina's search so that Cantika would not find out. He had sent his trusted confidants to search the entire Jakarta area to find the half of his heart that he had broken.

However, until this moment Reyno had not found a bright spot where Sabrina was.

It was very difficult to find Sabrina because she was in the luxurious residence of Assegaf who rarely left the house even just to buy necessities.
