I snickered and the lights went off, the expanse radiated a soft red underneath us and we looked around.

  Gasps erupted as we floated in the room, all of us were out of control while it developed into an ocean, bubbles escaped my mouth as we saw unusual merpeople.

With the head of snappers and bluish-grey humanoid bodies with gills on their sides.

Unlike us, they were very much harmonized to the water.

"How are we supposed to fight these things if we can't even throw a punch?"

Shadow Recruit: Mutant Madness

 She glanced at Wade fighting off a griffin and the rest attacked him, Shadow dispersed from her. 


"No distractions this time," She said and Shadow pointed at the eagle far off and the griffins spotted her and flew off toward her. 


 She teleported to grab the eagle but it was vindictive and trying to bite her, she groaned at its claws on her fingers, they had to see her go. 


 She made sure they saw their mother and flew as fast as she could. She gasped at Wade flying by her side 


He took the bird and headed south "You're not exactly Jetstream or made of metal" 


He said they were still following her. 


"Oh, I carry a gallon wherever I go, no I do not," He said and glanced at Shadow pointing and a griffin knocked them out of the sky. 


 The eagle escaped from his claws and it faltered trying to adjust to the change in the wind, one grabbed it and the eagle snapped within its grasp.
