Liam's Pack
Dimitri had been expecting the soft footsteps that crept by his door. He smiled as he slipped on his heavy robe. He didn't expect Selvo to guide them to Liam's southern part of his pack from the latter safe house a little over three hours before, but he didn't for a moment expect Blanca to meekly crawl into bed and go to sleep. After all, she was still devastated about what had happened to Cherry and Pablo. It took her an hour to stop sobbing and blaming herself. That would be entirely too sensible. It was her first death, which was merely a fraction of what Dimitri had in his existence.
And while Blanca did many wonderful things, accepting the reality that death would soon knock on their door from time to time was not among them.
