"There is a difference," Alpha Liam said to Blanca's surprise. "But only demons can feel it."
Warrior One leaned back and looked at her back to check for a demon horn. Or maybe he just wanted an excuse to stare at my ass.
"Oh, that's right." She snapped my fingers. "Stop looking at my ass, jackass. I'm already hybrid, No need to rub it in my skin."
"I wasn't looking at your ass." A spark of hope flashed in Warrior One's eyes.
She frowned at him and rolled her eyes.
"Let's focus." Liam gave her a chiding look. "You're sure their magic was light magic?"
"Why don't you hunt them down and let them hit you? Then you can see for yourself." Blanca grinned at the alpha.
Liam rubbed his head, his brows drawing together with strained patience. "Not now, Blanca. I'm not in the mood for insubordination."
"I'm not insubordinate," she protested. "I'm just wicked."
