The next morning, Blanca woke up early to spend a few hours running on the track. It was good training, but that wasn't the only reason she did it. It also helped her think.

If you have enough energy to think, you aren't pushing yourself hard enough.

That's what Dimitri would have said if he were here. But he wasn't here. He was probably with Damian or Killian looking for Prince Ulrich, or watching how he handled the catastrophe wreaking havoc on the city. There hadn't been any more sightings of crazed supernaturals. Yet.

As Blanca ran, she listened to yesterday's recordings from the witch's head chief's office in the cavern and thought about what to do next. Since she'd bugged her office, the old witch had met with one of her people, but Blanca hadn't heard anything useful. The meeting had happened outside of her coven's office.
