I pace back and forth on the floor of our room creating a noise that everyone could here around me while I look at the door, we keep it open so that I could hear what they were talking about in the office down the hall. Maleficus looks at me with a reassuring gaze, while my mother seat still on the couch beside him. 


"Your majesty, I think this will be over soon. Don't worry about Alpha King Vincent, he is capable of concealing his temper in order not to hurt those humans." 


I shook my head and watch the door again. "I wanted to be with the meeting but they won't allow me to." 


My mother smiled at me. "Sweetheart, just let the men do the talking for now. There is a peace treaty that needs to be followed but lately, the rules have been broken by so many humans in the city so maybe they have to make a new set of rules that will be applied to all." 


I nodded my head. Unlike me, my mother understood the legal process better.
