“Don’t tell me you’re scared of heights.” Leon frowned, looking with concern at Jaxon who looked nervous.
Jaxon glared at him. “We grew up together, you know I’m not.” He pouted, looking away.
“Then, why is your face so bright red and why are you looking around nervously?” He prodded, using a hand to cup Jaxon’s face to turn in his direction.
Jaxon snapped at this point, putting both of his hands on Leon’s chest to push him backwards a bit. “That’s because you’re literally on me, people are staring.” He whispered the last bit furiously.
“I was?” Leon frowned believably.
Leon had offered to help him with his buckles when they got on the Ferris wheel, he had fumbled a bit and immediately the werewolf swooped in to help.
He had agreed, seeing no harm in doing so but Leon was adept at making even the innocent of actions seem incredibly questionable.
