He made his way to the Alpha’s office, it was about time for them to take their leave, he was sure that Virgil would probably have something to say before that. 


Absently, he pushed open the door to Virgil’s office, the past hour had gone by without him even realising it, he had been too busy panicking to notice. 


His eyes went wide when he stepped in and everyone in the room turned to look at him, Leon and Darian were already here, which was something he should have predicted. 


Afterall, they were the ones going on a work trip, he was merely tagging along, Virgil using this as an opportunity to get rid of him. 


Somehow he managed to not trip, avoiding both Darian and Leon’s gaze which were clearly on him. 


“Hey Jax.” Virgil smiled slightly, inviting him to sit. “I didn’t think you’d come, they’re just about to leave though so you came at the right time.”
