In his room, Stan was showered and in bed working on his laptop when the knock came. “Yeah?” He called out. 


“I shouldn’t have taken that shower,” Will said as he entered. “Can’t sleep.” He hopped onto Stan’s desk and relaxed his feet on the chair. “A Jazz lover huh?” He commented on the low jazz that was playing on Stan’s laptop. 


“I like to listen to cool jazz when I’m working,” Stan murmured, his gaze on Will. He could smell the enticing pheromones in the air around his mate and see the need in his eyes. Even as he wondered what had brought that on Stan felt an answering desire blazing through his body and centering in his groin. “Shit.” 


“Nothing.” Stan shut the laptop, cutting off the music.
