The Wrong Mate

Col walks into my room without knocking, I don't want to talk about what happened anymore. It seemed like he overreacted and Lowell didn't even react to what I told them. I don't expect loyalty from Lowell Hemming, I don't even know the guy but at the same time, I at least thought he would care a little bit that I was attacked.

Rek took something that no one has ever taken from me and he left me on the cold ground to bleed. He made a fool of me at that moment, which hurts the most. I don't know if I have fully processed what happened and Lowell downplayed it too fucking much.

'Are you okay?'' he asks me concerned.

I look up at him and manage a smile. "It's fine, it is not a big deal. I shouldn't have gone out with him in the first place."

He frowns "Are you really going to blame yourself for his actions right now. He is an asshole and he should be called out on it."
