Anna's POV

We got to the Arena, it was already fully occupied with people and the ring stage was already set.

We bought some snacks and took our seats.

Is it me or Ivan seems to be weirdly interested now that we are settled.

"So, having fun eh"

"At least I can watch her get hurt .... Its enough for me". He replied with a smirk on his face.

What was I expecting once a sadist will always be a sadist.

The speaker booms and the first fighter is announced.

" Everyone should be on their feet the king of fighters ,the Mutilator, the executioner... Having a record of leaving his opponents handicapped and the crowd gobsmacked is kingggggg ANDERSON!!"

The guy named Anderson entered the ring with a crown on his head. He looks huge, his body fully inked with various designs of tattoos, he has piercings on his ears, nose, eyebrows and lips.

How the hell will she be able to fight this... Thing!

She enters the ring and everyone gasped. I can hear what the crowds are saying, murmuring things like,

"she's a girl?

"Is this right?"

"Isn't she the first one to defeat Tyler"

"She's gonna get crushed, she probably thinks the king will take it easy on her"

"Wow a girl .... I hope she wins, she's too gorgeous to be a fighter".

"Look at that tattoo.. She's baddass"

Snow looks up at the crowd probably searching for us, she sees us and smirks. I look at Ivan and he is actually smiling. weirdo.

A boy comes into the ring with a sickle placed on the board in his hands. He brings it to Anderson and bows, Ander- wait that name is a mouthful so I'll call him Andy.

Andy takes the sickle and smirks at Snow to which she returns back to him.

"Why is he using.... That? I asked Chad.

" Well princess this is not a tea party so you might not understand. You see the sickle in his hands serves as his weapon". He replied smugly .

"No shit Sherlock, why is it allowed in the ring it could hurt someone" I shrieked.

"Just relax Anna"

Okay I'll relax, I believe Snow can do it.

The bell rings and Andy swings the sickle at Snow, she weaves it.

He tried the same approach five more times and she kept weaving miraculously which made him angry and released an aura I didn't notice before, the aura of a vampire.

"Guys this dude is a vampire ..... This is wrong, Snow could get seriously hurt, what do we do? I panicked.

Ivan had a frown on his face as he also sensed Andy's vampire aura.

"She's still very mundane I don't think she can beat him". I continued, my voice laced with worry.

"I don't think Snow will like to find out that she won because of us. Losing does not spell loser remember".

Chad reassured me.

I promised to protect her. I have to do something.....

Snow's POV

I don't think I'm gonna win this match, this guy is pretty bent on mutilating my body.

He's very fast, I can't fight and protect myself at this rate.

'The short knife.

I thought of an idea.

He swings the sickle at me again and I ran out of the ring, the crowds booed at me but I don't care.

Anderson turned his back to me and roared victoriously at of the crowd.

Wrong move dude.

I whistled at him, he faced me and I instantly threw the knife, aiming at his eyeball.

'Bullseye. Got him!.

I rushed back into the ring and kicked him behind the knees, he fell on one knee. Gripped his head and sliced his eyeball off his socket.

Everyone gasped. My eyes widened

* Commentator's table*

First commentator: first time in history have I ever witnessed a girl participate in a fight. Is it not illegal? Tom ? Tom?

Second commentator : yeah I'm sorry Whale, I'm goggling about the first every female fighter and you can't believe what am seeing.... The first female fighter had her first fight in China until she became a champion in China. That female fighter is the same Snow Li! Can you believe it.

Third commentator: hold up,hold up ..... So you're saying that the snow li I thought was a guy is actually a lady ..... So she purposely disguised herself as a boy so people won't think he went easy on her ... Woah this is amazing. Wait are you sure she's mundane???

Second commentator: yeah dude a test was taken and she is very mundane but since the king here is a vampire I dunno if she can make it tonight.

First commentator: well I can't say man, I mean we just watched her remove the eyeball of the mutilator himself ..... Even if she loses she is still a champion....

Anna's POV

What just happened?

Did snow do all that by herself!? I looked at Ivan and he also had the same look, surprised.

I guess she did it on her own but that didn't hold the vampire for that long as he carries her by the waist and slams her to the ground.

He looks around for his weapon, she kicks it further away, he drags her by the ankle then flings her out of the ring to the cold hard floor.

I can hear the crowds chanting her name and hyping her just like I'm doing and it seems to get Andy the vampire more angry.

He picks up his sickle and before he could stand back up, Snow had already climbed on his back and stabbed his throat, he pulls her off by the hair and swings the sickle at her but this time she could not dodge so it left a deep gash on her tummy.

Everywhere became silent as we all watched in slow motion how Snow puts her hand on her tummy in an attempt to stop the blood before falling to the ground , she looks up at Anderson and smiled showing her bloody teeth.

Andy gets angry, kicks her in the face before lifting her up by her throat .

"Guys I think we need to do something now" I tell the others as I watched their expression, they all looked worried but Ivan looks kinda worried-angry, I guess the scent of her blood is affecting him just as it is starting to affect Anderson..
