Qin Yi

"Su Nian? Su Nian!" a voice yells over the speaker.

Su Nian who fell asleep quickly picks up her head from the table and looks where the voice is coming from.

"I'm right here!" a voice said impatiently. "How could you fall asleep when you're in the middle of class!"

Su Nian is in her last year of college, and yesterday she has been working on her project, which has caused her to fell asleep in class.

Today Su Nian has night class online, so she couldn't help but fall asleep. She quickly fixes her posture and apologized.

After the professor gave her a lesson, the class ended. She swears that she won't ever take night classes anymore. Su Nian regrets this choice right after the amount of workload she has been given by the class.

Su Nian got up and went downstairs to get a late-night snack. Right Now it's 10 pm and her parents are on a work trip. She walks to the kitchen and opens the fridge.

"Nothing!" she said in disbelief and closed it back.

Suddenly the light opens and it scares Su Nian for a moment.

"Why are you still up?" her oldest brother Su Nan Sang asks. Su Nan Sang is her oldest twin brother and is a fashion designer at their parent's company.

"How come you walk in without any sound? You almost scared me!" Su Nian said.

Su Nan Sang slightly hits her head and puts a bag of food in front of her.

Su Nian smiles and then saw it's her favorite rice noodle. "Thank You!" she gives her brother a quick hug and then sat down to eat.

"Eat slowly. I'll go up and take a shower. Don't work too late," he said to her.

Su Nian gives him an okay sign while eating her noodles. She hasn't had anything since breakfast and now she's desperately hungry.

Su Nan Sang smiles and shakes his head. "Eat slowly." He pats her and went upstairs.

After eating it was already 10:20. Su Nian looks at the amount of homework that's piling on her table. Su Nian is an Art student, and since this is her last year of college, there's a lot of work for her to do. There are projects and homework that are one after another.

She walks up to her table and takes out her iPad. Su Nian has been working on a drawing for one of her manga stories. Su Nian wants to become a manga artist, so she's been doing manga for a long time under this platform. Her manga story already has over a hundred chapters, and right now she's trying to work on the ending. But she doesn't know how to end it. At first, when she write this story, it was out of the blue, but she never knew this much people will like it….

She closed her iPad and went to bed.

The next morning, she heard numerous knocks on the door. And she knows who that person is because there's only one person in this family that would do that.

"Su Jin Chuan!!" Su Nian screams his name and he opens the door with a smile.

"Well, look who's still sleeping!" he said and goes open the curtains.

"Su Jin Chuan! Why are you even here?" she said grumpily.

"First, I have the keys to this house. Second, Nan Sang Brother told me to come here and look after you. Third, I'm your cousin and am older than you. Don't call me by my full name, no manners." Su Jin Chuan said it all at once and gives a smile.

Su Nian didn't look at him. "I don't need you to look after me. I can take care of myself," she said.

"Do you know how to cook or drive?"

Su Nian didn't know how to answer that because she doesn't know how to do any.

"Don't tell me that you'll order take out. You know that your second twin brother is a doctor right. He doesn't allow you to order any take-out unless you want to get yelled at by him."

How could Su Nian forget! Her second twin brother, Su Bei Yang is one of the top doctors in A City, and he would always nag her about eating take-out foods.

Su Jin Chuan didn't waste time with her and told her to get dressed. "I'll wait for you downstairs."

Today Su Nian has a 10:30 class and right now it's already 9 AM. She didn't waste her time and went to get washed up.

Su Jin Chuan already cooked breakfast and is sitting at the dining table waiting for her. Su Jin Chuan is her father's youngest brother's only son. But instead of helping his father out, he likes to race cars.

"Can't believe you know how to cook." Su Nian said and starts eating the fried noodle that he placed in front of her.

"There's a lot of things that you still don't know about me," he said proudly like he does know a lot of things.

Su Nian gives him an eye and didn't bother to respond.

Usually, it's her dad that drives her to school, but after her dad becomes busy, it was either one of her brothers.

"You finish at 5 right? I'll come to pick you up," Su Jin Chuan said while driving.

Su Nian quickly rejects his offer. "No! Don't come!" she said in a rush.

Su Jin Chuan gives her a look, "why?"

"Man, look at this car. It's too much," she said.

"What's wrong with it?" he said while not understanding the cause he'll make later.

Before Su Nian can say, he already pulled up to school. Many people turned around to see. They recognized that car because it's the "Car King", Su Jin Chuan's car.

"Now, do you understand why? You and your car are the spotlights now and I don't want to be in it."

No one at school knows that Su Nian is Su Jin Chuan's cousin. She doesn't even want to say because of how many fangirls he has. Back when Su Nian was in high school when people knew that her cousin is Su Jin Chuan, they would tell them to give him this and that. She finds it pretty annoying.

"I'll go home myself," she said and quickly walks out of the car without giving him a chance to say anything.

Su Jin Chuan couldn't help but look himself at in the mirror. "Am I this handsome?" he said while fixing his hair.

"Omg! Su Nian, how do you know Su Jin Chuan?" her best friend Li Ruo Yan asks. Li Ruo Yan was once her roommate in college, but after something happened, her parents didn't allow her to live in the dorm anymore.

Su Nian didn't want to explain, but seeing that not many people are here, she whispers in her ear.

"He's my cousin. But don't tell anyone."

Li Ruo Yan almost screamed when she heard that. "He's your cousin?" as she whispers back to double-check if she didn't hear it wrong.

Su Nian nods.

Li Ruo Yan can't believe Su Nian's family has this much smart person. She knows about her twin brothers and now her cousin is Su Jin Chuan??

After Su Nian finished her two classes, Li Ruo Yan told her that the school invites a famous person over for a lecture.

"How famous?" Su Nian said as she walks to the canteen for her lunch.

Li Ruo Yan shrugs. "I'm not sure, but I heard he graduated from A University before.

"Well, who cares right. Right now, I just know that I'm hungry." Su Nian said and takes Li Ruo Yan with her before the cafeteria gets crowded.

As they are eating, they heard people talking about this 'famous person also.

"Are you sure you're not going to see?" Li Ruo Yan asks. "It starts at 2 and I remember that you don't have your next class till 3. And this lecture only lasts an hour." Li Ruo Yan tries to convince Su Nian.

"I can't. I have to finish my drawing that's due tomorrow or else that devil professor might say something." The devil professor is the one that caught her sleeping yesterday in class.

"Ok, but I'll make sure to take a picture and show you." Li Ruo Yan smiles at her.

Su Nian went to the library after lunch. She got herself a cold matcha latte and sat at the corner near the window.

As she concentrates on her drawing, her phone rings.

It's a message from Li Ruo Yan.

"Nian Nian! Guess who this person is."

Another message came again.

"It's Qin Yi!"

A picture then went through. Qin Yi stood in front of the stage with his mic.
