The Plan

After numerous nights of finishing her project, Su Nian finally waited for her break to come.

Su Nian slept through her first day of spring break. She lays on her bed while scrolling on the phone.

*Su Nian, you have to help me. My mom set me up on a blind date again," Li Ruo Yan messaged her.

Su Nian got up from her bed and told Li Ruo Yan to send her the location.

Today everyone went to work, so no one is home. Su Nian went to her brother, Su Nan Sang's room, and search through his closet. She then smiles, "it's you!"

At the cafe,

"You must be Miss. Li?" a young man walks up to Li Ruo Yan with a flower.

Li Ruo Yan awkwardly nods but doesn't show any affection towards him. Her mom has been setting her up on blind dates ever since summer. She doesn't understand why her mom is in a rush for her to get married when she's only 23.

"I heard that you're still in college right? I can wait," as he continue talking about his things, Li Ruo Yan didn't really listen to him. She just kept looking at the front door to see when Su Nian is coming. But the man caught her not focusing on him.

"Is there something wrong?" he asks Li Ruo Yan.

"Huh?" Li Ruo Yan asks him.

The guy gives a little attitude and puts down his cup. "Miss. Li, is there's anything you want to add to today's meeting?"

This is the first time he met Li Ruo Yan, and he doesn't hate her. He finds her pretty and interesting, but somehow he can sense that she's not really into it.

"Mr. Chen, I'm sorry. I have a boyfriend." Li Ruo Yan said.

Mr. Chen looks at her piss, "what?!? If you have a boyfriend then why are you here wasting my time?!" he said angrily.

Just at this moment, someone walked into the cafe.

Su Nian dressed in her brother's suit and white shirt, with the wig that she brought from Taobao.

"Hey babe, sorry I'm late," Su Nian said and put her arm around Li Ruo Yan, and then looked at the man.

"Who is he?" she asks Li Ruo Yan pretending not to know.

But before Li Ruo Yan could say anything, water splashed on Su Nian's face.

Both of them were shocked by this and looked at who did it.

Mr. Chen puts down the cup and angrily looks at them. "You think you dress like that, I don't know that you're a girl. Can't believe you guys are this cheap!"

Su Nian's anger rises when she heard this. As Mr. Chen turns to walk, she takes of her wig and throws the water bottle that she brought with her, and it hits his leg.

Mr. Chen loses his balance and fell on the floor. But what's more surprising is that his wig fell too. Everyone who saw it started laughing.

Su Nian walks up to him and picked up his wig that fell on the side.

"Can't believe that you not even 30 yet, and already have hair loss? To fix that problem before even coming out for a blind date," she gives him back the wig. Mr. Chen awkwardly takes it back and ran out the door.

"Su Nian, are you okay?" Li Ruo Yan asks and wipes Su Nian's face with a tissue.

"How did he know I'm a girl? I've never failed to dress up as a man though!" Su Nian said and wonder where went wrong.

Li Ruo Yan then points at her nail polish and eyelashes.

Yesterday, Su Nian decides to play with the false lashes that she got for free from the beauty store. But she forgot to take them off.

"Whatever, let's go eat. I'm hungry," Su Nian said while taking Li Ruo Yan's hand.

"It's my treat," Li Ruo Yan said with a smile.

But before they get to walk out of the cafe, a hand grabs Su Nian by the wrist.

"Qin Yi? Why are you here?" she asks him but felt a little embarrassed.

"I'm here to see a client. Why are you here and dress like that?" He said and saw that her hair and clothes are somewhat wet.

"It's nothing. Just don't tell my brother or else my identity as her "boyfriend" will be over." Su Nian said while patting Li Ruo Yan.

"Boyfriend?" Qin Yi looks at her questioning.

Su Nian explains everything to him, but the next thing was a hit on the head.

"How stupid can you be?" he said to her.

Su Nian gives a stare at Qin Yi, "I'm not stupid, and so if I am, then it's your fault for hitting my head."

"Nian Nian, how do you know Qin Yi?" Li Ruo Yan asks. Last time, when Li Ruo Yan sent Su Nian the photo of Qin Yi, she didn't hear that she knows Qin Yi.

"Now, I don't want to know him," Su Nian said with a small temper.

Qin Yi looks at her then at her friend Li Ruo Yan. "You know that this plan won't work forever right?" he said to them.

Both of them nods, but there's no other choice. Li Ruo Yan doesn't want those blind dates. She just wants to find someone that she likes and to get married with.

"I have a plan," Qin Yi said with a side smirk.

Su Nian looks at him, also so does Li Ruo Yan.

Ten minutes later, Su Jin Chuan came over.

"Why did you call me out? And why are you dressed like that? Isn't that Brother Nan Sang's clothes?" he asks Su Nian and then noticed her friend next to her.

"We'll talk about that later. But you remember that you owed me a favor right?" Su Nian said with a wide smile.

Su Jin Chuan knows that face. It means nothing good is gonna happen. "I don't know what you're saying! I just remembered that I have something to do," as he got up, Su Nian knew this would happen. So she stopped him before he does.

"Su Jin Chuan!" she calls out his name.

"If you help me this once, then that thing I won't ever bring it up again." She said while whispering into his ear.

Su Jin Chuan gives her a side stare, "you promise?"

"I promise."

They both sat down again, and Su Nian tells him the whole plan.

"WHAT!!" Su Jin Chuan almost yelled out.

"You promise!" Su Nian said before Su Jin Chuan rejects.

Li Ruo Yan who sits there felt somewhat bad. "How about let's forget this," she said to Su Nian.

Su Jin Chuan can not agree more with this.

"But how about your mom?" Su Nian asks her.

Li Ruo Yan smiles. "It's okay. It's not like she can force me and plus, it's my own life. No one can force me into doing anything that I don't want."

After a while, Li Ruo Yan took the cab home and left with Su Nian, Su Jin Chuan, and Qin Yi.

"I want to eat fried chicken and ice milk tea!" she said to Su Jin Chuan with a temper.

Su Jin Chuan knows that he has already made this young lady angry. But he also knows that if he goes by this food, he'll definitely get murdered by Su Bei Yang. Either way, he'll die.

Qin Yi stood at the side and just smiles. Su Jin Chuan looks at him for help, but Qin Yi didn't say a word.

Su Jin Chuan sighs, "only this one time. You better not get caught eating this," he said to her and then went to buy it.

Watching Su Jin Chuan walking away, Qin Yi looks at her. "Still angry?"

"Not really. I know that I can't force them to do anything they don't want. Well, I guess I'll just continue this "boyfriend" role until Ruo Yan finds her man," Su Nian said proudly.

Qin Yi's face darkens when he heard that.

"I guess you didn't learn your lesson today," he said to her.

"It was only today. Plus, I will improve on my makeup skills," Su Nian said.

Su Jin Chuan then came back with the food and give it to Su Nian. "Are you going home? If you are, I'll drive you back," he said to her.

Su Nian nods.

"I'll see next time," Su Nian said to Qin Yi and went inside the car.

Qin Yi watches her go, and then calls his secretary.

Once Su Nian got home, she made sure no one is back and slowly sneaks up to her room with the food.

"Su Nian," a voice calls her.

Su Nian stops walking but didn't turn around.

"Turn around and put your hands up."

Su Nian turns and holds up her hand that has the food.

"Hi, dad," she said with a smile.

Her dad shakes his head but puts on a warm smile.

"Good thing your brothers aren't home, or else if they saw you wearing that and with those foods."

Her dad likes to eat unhealthy food like fried things and junk foods too, but because of his second son who is a doctor, he limits those foods and doesn't allow them to eat them.

"Dad, let's go eat?" Su Nian said with a smile.
