Lost in a Dance

"Milady! That's no good. Please do not ever think of that again.

"I still want to stay by your side . . . and guard you every single day, milady," Zafir held her by the shoulders and shook Stella out of her reverie.

She was fantasizing about finally enjoying her normal life back in her old world when she realized that Zafir was in front of her. He looked panicked and holding back tears.

"Oh, I'm sorry. That's not what I meant. Calm down," Stella said and Zafir eyed her suspiciously.

"Do you really not mean it that way, milady?" Zafir verified.

"Yes. No need to worry. Why does everyone worry too much?" Stella wondered.
