Chapter 82: The Unexpected

I quickly moved to ascend to the surface but Aeron grabbed firmly onto my arm, preventing me from moving any further. I shot him a bewildered look.

"What are you doing?" I mouthed. He kept his lips tight and shook his head, pulling me back under and replaced the stone gently.

"If we move them now, it will raise an alarm." He whispered. "We need to go back." He pulled on my arm and with much reluctance, I followed him back out.

Aeron pulled all the commanders and captains into the meeting tent and laid out a giant map across the table. He intricately placed carved wooden emblems for each unit across the map.
