Iontach - The Magnificent Estate

"I hear you two have been having a great time in the painting room." Roger commented. "I'm glad to hear you're interested in art, Louisa."


"Yes, uncle. And Michael has taught me a few things. At the moment, I'm being his living model. But he tells me some things about art and I am more and more interested." Louisa said. Michael looked at her and smiled.


"I'd love to see what you're painting, Michael." Roger said and looked at his son. The latter returned the look, which was light and guilt-free, Roger realized. It relieved him.


"It would be an honor, father." He replied. "Unfortunately I won't be able to finish the painting right now."


"And how shall we do it?" Louisa asked worriedly.


"Do not worry, dear. When Michael returns, you will finish this work of art." Emmeline said, popping some of the mashed potatoes into her mouth.
