Chapter 36

Judith was in the room, sitting sullenly. Harry, on the other hand, was walking from one side to the other.

"Please stop that! The squeak of your boots is giving me a headache!" She said. Harry, who was nervous as he was very fond of Oliver, lost his temper.

"I will walk as much as I want. If I want to tap dance," he said and stamped his foot again, "I will! The man could be dying, in that room, and you're bothered by my boots, Judith?"

"He's just a groom! I don't understand how he can be so upset about something so petty. And for that, you need to make your wife suffer." She insisted.

Harry took her by the arms and lifted her off the couch.

"That man is my friend and he has already saved my life! He is a great friend and I will not ignore his and his family's suffering! You understand?" He shook her lightly and Judith was stunned. She had never, ever been treated with such brutality by her husband.

He released her and she sank back down onto the couch.
