"What do you think this might be, Your Highness?" Randolf asked and Louisa gave him a thoughtful look.

"I am not sure. It might be about Michael's accident, most likely. Maybe they found the culprit for this?"

"I heard…" Randolf started to say, but stopped himself and looked down, while holding Michael's torso, so Louisa could feed him better.

"What have you heard, Randolf?" She was looking at her husband, but as Randolf was still silent, she lifted her eyes to him. "Please… answer me."

He sighed.

"I've heard that Mr. Benjamin Dankworth is the person to be blamed for this situation the Duke finds himself into, now."

Louisa nodded and deeply breathed before saying something.

"I've heard that, too. But I don't believe it. I have known Benjamin for many years and, as much as he can let his temper get the best of him, he is not capable of killing, especially by plotting something in advance."
