Well I really don't know what to feel about this novel, for the good side it seens highly inspired in Lord of Mysteries, one of the bests novels ever, but in the bad side we have some parts that if it were developed in the wrong way will become extremely racists, when the author speaks about demi-humans, you can make an parallel with the uighurs and other ethnic minorities in china. Not only this but the first vilain was the first person with a western name, I don't say this is racist, but one wrong step and this could become even worst of the most of racist novels
it's probably another one of those novels where the protagonist will be bound by the government and will be a mindless fool following orders. They will probably give us a few chapters without much nationalism because webnovel has already found that people don't like reading them.

Honestly, although it contains elements that I like from Lord of the Mysteries and My House of Horrors and other genres, it needs so much more work. The story is all over the place, with so many introductions, explanations, and events missing. It's like a hodgepodge of all the different elements the author likes without a good execution. Additionally, many of characters names and some vocabulary were wrong and I don't know if it is the translator's problem or the author's, but the syntax is making me feel like I'm reading MTL.

Interesting. I like any reference to outer gods or old ones.
Great story with a nice combination of story elements. it admittedly does copy some traits from other stories, but does it well and since the copied works are all top tier, I'm okay with it as it's got the nostalgia-esque dopamine. The setting, gods, and some of the power system are very reminiscent of lord of mysteries. The system has tasks that are super similar to My house of horrors, with a nice knowledge-based growth and the storage aspect of lord of mysteries. I look forward to more and hope it's picked.
Interesting but definitely not my cup of tea when it comes to novels. Now to be clear i’m not saying that this is a bad novel just that personally I’m not a fan of horror novels.

Standard Chinese novel. The only good thing is the setting, so the world building and power system, which is copied directly or patched together; everything else about the novel is mid or terrible.
