What was this?

(°_°)

Blink. Blink.

Many stared at the transparent screen in a daze.

And from time to time, their eyes would fall on Wolfram as though asking for an explanation.

But Wolfram only smiled, encouraging them to explore what it was for themselves.

Even he didn't know how to go about explaining every little thing.

All he gave them was simple instructional advice.

"Use your hands to your thoughts to click on the many boxes... Those boxes are called icons. Sometimes, they are also referred to as tabs."

Oh~

Like students in a classroom, many listened attentively, trying to calm their excitement.

And amongst them was the 15-year-old Calvedash.

He followed Wolfram, accompanied by his mother.

As for his father, it gained him say that he died on a hunting trip 4 years back.

'So... So I raise my hands and click on it?'

Well, here goes nothing.

Click~

...

The more Calvedash saw, the more he understood.

Following that, he also saw a Daily mission tab, as well as a map that showed the general situation of their gathering, though it was all pick black except for some places.

However, he found that if he moved a bit to the left or right, the spots around him would become visible.

'So that's how it is!'

Calvedash's excitement was like nothing he had ever felt before.

The more he looked at it, the more he realized how much of a blessing it all was.

And more importantly, he could see blue-shaped triangles that floated above everyone's head.

This was a sign that they were part of the same Gathering.

And though the names weren't shown, if he wanted to know, he had to click on their figures on the map... Though only their first names would show.

He also had a hunch that if many had similar names, this heavenly gift would still know how to differentiate them.

And just like him, Mother Willow, Linda, Dora, and many of the women and men were also ecstatic with what they saw.

Damn!

Mother Willow was even more shocked that her strength was mortal level (14.5/20).

If her husband was stronger than her, she secretly guessed that he should be around 17 or even 18.

Hubby was mighty!

(^0^)

Mother Willow was proud.

And the excitement they felt right now was akin to one using a computer for the first time in their lives.

Many were too happy to think further.

But for some, they could see quite a few matters that needed answers to.

Heh.

Titus tapped the many icons, noticing a few undecided factors.

And tilting his head to the side, he chewed on his stall of grass in his usual lazy demeanor.

"Wolf boy... Occupation? Occupational skills?... Wolf... You should know something about this, no?"

Titus' words were like a storm on a sunny day, bringing everyone back to reality.

Yes! There was still much they didn't know.

So now wasn't the time for jubilations.

Like quiet students, many chose to sit cross-legged, waiting for the classroom lecture to begin.

Wolfram grinned, having more appreciation for Titis' keen senses. "As expected of you, uncle. Nothing goes under your eyes."

Titus shrugged. 'You give too much credit. That said, care to explain it now?"

"With pleasure!... To start, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah~."

....

Not more than 18 minutes went by, with everyone listening and asking selection questions.

And Wolfram was more than happy to explain it all.

Wolfram noticed that unlike many games back in his former world, reality was different from what he expected.

Though this was a stone age, because of his settlement being a Gathering, those in his statement could have 2 titles at most.

That is... Some could be villagers while also being Clubmen too.

In the games, villagers who built fishing docks, hunted, and did other essential tasks could never be allowed to be militia.

But because in a gathering, they were small in number, they qualified to be both.

However, once he ranked up his settlement status to 'Village,' everyone would be asked to specialize or choose particular paths.

Another thing he realized was that whether they were villagers or militia, they would all have the chance to become Sky hailers!

That's right.

Blacksmiths, Builders, and all these professions were also things Sky hailers in this world did.

There were Sky Hailer manuals and skills that would make them grow stronger and stronger the more they practiced.

Not to mention the fact that they could level up skills too.

So whether they were villagers or militia, they would still be strong.

It was just that militia would know more battle skills.

Additionally, Militia train not just their bodies but other aspects like speed.

So of course they would be better in battle.

Just like in games, villagers could also attack enemy warriors.

But would it be as effective as Militia attacking enemy militia?

Definitely not.

It was good for the villagers to get strong, protecting themselves from wolves and all the rest while looking about their busy days.

And just like the system had said, though babies were part of the settlement, they wouldn't be involved in all this

And floating above them were Pink triangles instead.

When they come of age, they could also swear to abide by the rules if they wanted to activate their Black Wolf Gathering System.

.

Having explained all he could, Wolfram decided to dish out their professions!

For now, many were given a single occupation of being a villager, while others were given 2: villager and Clubman.

Boom!

Another new world opened to them.

But while all this was going on, many forces scattered around the empire, and even those in the neighboring empire, were all alert.

What a powerful Holy Object!

But where? Where did it fall?

In the forest of Ashes?

Then they must find it!
