war!!

Din! Din! Din! Din!

The sounds of several men stomping their Spears onto the ground could be heard across the scene.

War! War! War!...

Some had fire torches at hand, while others focused on smearing black paste on their faces.

2 lines on the face, 4 on the chest on both sides.

The war symbols were drawn out, and the air was heavy with murderous intent.

The men had been long fed and were ready to operate on a full stomach.

All 90 of them stood firm with chests lifted to the sky.

Though they seemed tough on the surface, strange feelings emerged from within.

For some youngins, this was their first time participating in battle. For others, even though they had lived to fight 1 or 2 battles, their time under the late Village Chief's rule was seemingly peaceful.

They indeed defended the village from a few attacks but never ventured out or thought of conquering the other neighboring settlements.
