An Exciting Tomorrow

Freedom and a sense of security. 

Winston's hand trembled while holding his pickaxe tightly. 

His eyes were slightly red, and his lips bruised while biting hard. 

The group looked towards the heavens, staring at the warm sun basking in their faces.

"Brother Winston... Would you have known there would be a day I would see my wife's crippled leg stand straight again?"

"And me... After my son hit his head and became a fool, would you have known there would be a day he would wake up? The leader said after the settlement grows stronger, there is a high possibility a cure can be made... My son... My son will be whole again..."

Tears trickled down the man's face. 

There was hope... There was hope for them here!
