New Friends

Day 2 started off with a Big Bang. 

One would think that after yesterday, many would be quieter than usual. But that's where you'd be wrong. 

Today was game day… though the games won't be taking place until the evening. 

Think of it like going to watch a concert or a movie at night. You just feel good, and everyone meets up with smiles, heading for one destination. 

But all that was for hours later. 

For now, everyone was free to explore particular places for guests. 

Joshua sat up from his bed like clockwork, rushing to his balcony from time to time. His father was still dead asleep like a pig, but at least his Mother Cerine was up. 

"What's the matter with you? Why are you squirming around like a worm caught by a bird?" Cerine tugged the little boy's cheeks teasingly. "Is it because of your new friends?"
