Missed Feeling

"Come on, Nathan," Alina shook her head lightly. "You didn't ask about my fiancé, you asked about Yu instead. This is so weird, out of the ordinary… I don't know!"

Nathan chuckled. "No, nothing out of the ordinary—hm, I mean, yeah… I heard you two got along pretty well. So, yeah…"

"See!" Alina giggled. "You are strange. You're stuck with your own words."

Nathan smiled widely, scratching his head.

"All right, all right," he said. "I didn't ask about your fiancé because I knew James had died from the effects of the Healer. And yes, let's say, I'm a little jealous of how close you and that quirky name are."

"Oh my God, Nathan. You are jealous?"

"Yes."

"Even though we don't know each other?"

"I know," Nathan looked down with a flushed face. "Maybe I'm just weird. I was jealous after finding out about you, this afternoon."

Good grief! What kind of feeling is that? thought Alina.
