Killing two birds with one stone?!

King Philip didn't say much...he straightened up and looked at luscious... luscious was wearing a confused face ..he didn't know about any of these things going on...he didn't understand anything. King Philip signaled one of his guard ... without a word the guard rushed in and picked memwell off the floor... he left with memwell. Another guard came in and cleaned up the rug..

King Philip walked to one of the sofas reserved for nobles are he sunk into it

"don't you just have questions luscious?!"he said calmly.. breaking the silence that lingered

"yes my lord..."luscious responded with a shaky voice

"I'm the myth doesn't means I'd answer your questions without you asking"

and with that ... luscious heaved a sigh Sure he could ask and understand what it was going on...he sank into the sofa the lord sat on...he was sitting next to him but his nerves weren't relaxed at all...he was so anxious...to know

"my lord...."he started...a little hesitant but he carried on anyway "about the slaves...are they all birds and fishes?"

"no!"was the brief respond from Philip

"why are they forbidden to step foot here?"

"the slaves are all from outside these three lands...there are other worlds that exist that we aren't aware of...these slaves ....most of them are cast away...banished for treason ..some are just on a mission.. like memwell...he forgot his mission...that's because the bird Kimberly... tempered with his memories..."

"my lord...are you saying all the slaves are different types of creatures with magic of their own?"

"yes! that's why our ancestors built this throne room...to expose all of them.....but all their powers have been taken from them with Kimberly as an exception though..it's likely that Monica had forced Kimberly in here and found out what it is her goal was....no wonder she was always on Kimberly's tail..."

luscious sighed...

"my lord... would memwell remember?"

"no! he'd never remember...he'd been forced to accept humanity and the spell Kimberly had used on him is irreversible...if tempered with...he'd die"

"but my lord ..from the vision of the ring...my slave Melissa Indeed looked like the ancient goddess"

"she is!"

"was she banished too?"luscious asked almost immediately....he couldn't believe that such a beauty had been made a slave...what happened to her? why? she was such a good person...

"no ! she made a sacrifice.... she'd given Monica her ring and became powerless..."with that. . Philip looked down at the ring in his hands...'the ring was her power' ..his eyes glimmered in mischief... Monica was dead! he was going to revenge but he didn't need the goddess anymore... what would he possible use her for? ' the ring was her power' he said again...his brows knotted as if contemplating on something.....but luscious voice jotted him back to reality

"my lord...lord Allen had indeed been unable to help the late lady ..may her soul rest in peace....but there had been a major threat to both the lady and her Melissa....that is Bianca...the lady's mother..."luscious paused looking downwards....he contemplated if his theory was right or at least close to...he wanted to say something but....

Philip had completely focused on this young prince who seemed to have his brain functioning very well...he was doing a great job of putting the pieces together..but the prince seemed to be relenting now

"speak ! luscious?!" he urged him... luscious stole a quick glance at him and relaxed his tensed muscles

"my lord ...if we are properly going to revenge the queen....I think we should search out Bianca first..."he hesitated but carried on when he saw interest beam in Philip's eyes "I've heard tales about the banished lady... she's very powerful...it was because of her her daughter had no power of her own... her powers are double that of any bloodsucking deity...it would be difficult to overcome her....the lady had lived for centuries now...and she's still very much alive..."

"and do you know where she is?"Philip cut in ... asking this very question that seemed to intrigue something in him... luscious halted his speech...his expression as if angry he was intruded but he soon responded anyway

"no other place but the land of fantasy"

Philip smiled...a mischievous one....it was as if a light bulb appeared in his head

"so we'd kill two birds with one stone then" was what he said

luscious narrowed his eyes .. obviously not complying to this...he wasn't seeing success in this...they were going to kill an ancient deity having the powers of two royalties..two blood sucking deities...not some mere vampire...indeed this Philip had no brains. .was he really thinking?...did he just want to die before even winning the war? did he forget he had no powers but to see? 'now what has seeing got to do with winning? bubbling idiot! ' luscious thought and he eyed the lord...the lord was too focused on his win win thought that he'd not noticed the displeasure In luscious eyes.

Did he even talk about killing two birds with one stone? fu*king fool! who ever told him he stood a chance against lord Allen? was he just a mere bird? luscious facepalm himself and this action was what brought the lord back to luscious...

Philip narrowed his gaze feeling irritated with the way luscious was behaving...he could see the young prince had no trust in him ...he could see the prince didn't even believe that they could kill an ant in the war...he could see that the prince was seeing them all as sacrificial lambs...he was angry yet he couldn't speak out...

"luscious?!" Philip called out and just like that.... luscious' gaze settled in on him...the intensity in his eyes had been extinguished and he looked as though he was on the same side with the lord

"I know you don't approve...tell me what you think" was what Philip said

without further hesitation... luscious let the cat out of the bag "you don't have powers my lord. ..and my powers are nothing.... and Natasha isn't here yet..."was his retort...and as though a knife had been driven into Philip's heart...he clutched his chest and rose to his feet ...not sparring a gaze at the prince
