Lock System I

Rubbing his head, Mikail got up from the cold floor felling stiff after laying on the floor for a long time? Mikail showed a puzzled expression as he realized he just got up from the floor not his bed and… he stinks!

"Shit where am I, why am I naked?, it stinks so bad! And for God sake why didn't I take a bath", Mikail complained as he hurriedly shook his head, trying to shake off the smell from smelling his armpit before he slowed down as he noticed the floating blue screen before him.

"Da Fuck!" Mikail swore as he saw the image of himself shaking his head like a dog after taking a bath, it even imitated the gesture of him swearing.

Mikail looked at the screen more carefully, beside his mini figure that is still keeping up with his action there is a list of word with only the tittle visible.

Slowly the word began to disappear from 'Beginner' until it sentence 'Advance Parameter:' is left and the list that Mikail cannot see is visible now.

"Huh?" the moment Mikail uttered that puzzled word the screen changed again.

"What? Why did it Change? Well it's good though." Mikail said while rubbing his chin before focusing his attention to the 5 tab on the uppermost part of the screen.

With all of them with Storage as exception is white in colour while the Storage tab is dark in colour. In his curiosity while mindlessly climbing the stairs to 5th floor, Mikail pressed the Storage tab.

Mikail pressed it a few more times to test if it will change or not like when he let out a confused sound and the way the Parameter is shown became numeric but no matter what he did nothing changed.

Standing before his room, Mikail finally realized how amazing it is that no one found him lying right before the stairs considering a lot of people use the elevator in front of the stars on each floor.

Mikail was about to open his door but then he remembered what he experienced last night and from his experience in reading web novels those things is usually the signs of apocalypse or something similar.

Unlocking his door, Mikail hurriedly connect his phone with the wifi and opened the news websites for any shocking news... the only notable news is mass hallucination of red light worldwide with possible new drug which seems very similar to his experience but aside from that there is no apocalypse like situation where zombies virus emerged or suddenly portals from other world shows up or sudden evolution of all being or the emergence of new energy like mana, ki, etc, nada, nothing.

On the User tab where Mikail didn't switch from the User tab because he can't move to the storage one, a new sentence showed up bellow the identified Advance Parameter.

Mikail looked up from his phone with his eyebrow lifted before he pressed the Storage tab again, now what showed up in the screen is a grid view of boxes with a search box just bellow the 5 main tab.

On the uppermost left box there is a plastic pacj of card, the card pack looks the pokemon card pack that he remembered buying a few times, just the image on the card pack is that of a padlock with infinity as it's keyhole, the same one that he saw on the card yesterday.

Mikail tapped the box twice before his finger went trough the box vanishing into the screen before he felt his hands touching something, he grabbed it and pulled his hands back.

Looking at the plastic card pack on his hands Mikail coincidentally glance over at the mirror beside him… suddenly Mikail lifted his head again and looked his hand that is holding nothing in the mirror, he looked back up and forth between the mirror and his hand before muttering, "Interesting…"

After that Mikail tried several thing like putting forth any part of his body and it vanished, if he is holding anything in that part of body it fell off like his bracelet or anything he tried to put in except the card pack.

Looking at the mirror, the body part that vanished truly vanished as it's not just in his perception. Several minutes passed and MIkail finally managed to figure out the limit of temporarily putting his body part inside the Storage.

First it cannot be his head or to be exact his brain? Because when he tried to put in his head while looking at the mirror, his hair and skull it seems got in until it stopped.

Secondly, if he put in any body part inside the storage, anything on the other side of screen with the width and size of biggest body part he put in will pass trough, how did he find this, by putting his feet in and rubber bands… a lot of rubber bands… looking at the rubber bands scattered in the floor Mikail sighed "indeed a lot of rubber bands and it will take a lot of time to clean this up."

Thirdly, any body part that is truly separate from him could be stored inside the Storage like his spit, nails, hairs… well that is the only thing he tried… and pee.

Sitting on his bed satisfied, Mikail ripped open the card pack before taking the 6 cards inside of it. Mikail inspected the card back and forth. Basically, all the card is the same with one side showing a huge '?' symbol and on the other side showing the Lock.

"Use!", Mikail shouted! And nothing happened.

Looking at the Lock on the card Mikail shouted again "Lock !", again nothing happened.

The next half an hour is spent on Mikail shouting various nonsense with various pose while cleaning up the rubber bands he scattered on the floor.

Finishing tying the rubber bands Mikail finally remembered the Help Tab and froze before he tapped it and the screen switched to the one with numerous side tabs showing tabs like 'How to Close The Lock System Screen' making Mikail realize that the screen is still on from the time he work up until now, 'The Storage Usage Rules' making Mikail realize that he is wasting time, 'How to Use Cards' making Mikail for the second time he is wasting time, 'Understanding Parameters', 'Lower Worlds', 'How to Obtain Lock Points', 'What is the use of Lock Cards' making him realize that he is a total moron.
