Chapter 52: Miss

LEANDRA'S POINT OF VIEW

I noticed how his face suddenly had a black marks now. As I was sitting above his lap, the dryness on his face caught my attention. He wasn't home for four days and it seems like he hasn't gotten any rest for awhile.

He was now on the couch, sitting while his coat was removed. The one he wore when he left was still intact. He hasn't gotten any rest, I see.

"Stop staring at me and talk," he groaned, slowly caressing my thighs.

I didn't speak. I remained staring at his face not until my hands went to his cheeks, slowly feeling the roughness in his face.

"How long have you been awake?" I asked, a bit curious and concerned.

"Almost a week, why?" he answered using his bedroom voice.

I sighed. "Why don't you get a particular time to sleep?"

His eyebrows arched. "Don't change the topic here, Leandra. We're talking and we're still not yet done."
