Meeting with Prakas Bhoja

After the meeting with JoydaG, Mario and Aditya had a small discussion because there was still time before the meeting with Prakas Bhoja. Mario took the cigarette from his pocket and lit it.

"Soon we will meet Prakas Bhoja. He had better not smell cigarettes from you," Aditya said, acting as secretary and reminding his boss.

"It doesn't matter. That guy was a worse smoker than I was. I think later this can bring us closer," Mario said, showing a cigarette that had been burned.

Aditya is not a smoker, but he has often seen social connections become closer between two adults who smoke. Therefore, Aditya understands Mario's words leading to something.

"Are you going to have a good relationship with him? Become a sponsor? I'm not sure about that, because the artists often create controversy. I'm worried about Falcon Face. If your brand sponsors Bhoja Entertainment artists, one day it might be impacted," said Aditya.

Mario thought of Aditya's remarks. He sucked and exhaled cigarette smoke into the air. His expression hinted that he knew better than Aditya.

"You're right," Mario said in his deep voice. "But I have other considerations. Being close to Prakas Bhoja also increased my chances of spotting Zi's weaknesses. You also know that Prakas is under Zi's shadow, since Zi talked about Bhoja Entertainment needing sponsors, didn't you realize that he was directing Prakas and me to work together? There must be a certain motive from Zi. I want to know his motive," Mario said, as he twirled his cigarette in his fingers.

Aditya observes Mario and he says, "You've changed," Aditya said. "The old you won't care about Zi's true intentions."

Mario smiled. The smile was cold and bitter to Aditya who saw it. Uncomfortable with Mario's smile, Aditya turns away looking at his watch.

"We'd better go. Five minutes later, the meeting with Prakas Bhoja begins."

"Isn't the place we are meeting in the opposite? That Japanese Resto," Mario said with his head turned towards a restaurant that looked eccentric in its exterior design.

Aditya nodded.

Mario agrees to leave right then and there. He didn't put out his cigarette and didn't finish his coffee either. He slipped the cigarette on his lips then stood up.

Mario's handsomeness was superb at that time. A waiter who passed by him turned her head watching him until she almost hit a table. Not only the female servant, but the male waiter also turned his head to look at Mario until his mouth dropped. Where did Mario's good looks come from?

Behind Mario, Aditya walks up fixing his glasses and manages to attract the attention of a customer who has just passed through the entrance. Aditya's hair in the back looks petite but adds to his charisma. As Mario and Aditya walk front and back, the two have a combination that makes everyone who sees them forget to breathe.

Mario and Aditya walk across the street. They crossed the zebra crossing. Actually, Aditya offers Mario to take a car, but Mario refuses because the café is not far from the meeting location with Prakas Bhoja and it can be reached on foot. If they drive the car, it means they have to find a new parking space at the restaurant while also having to detour the road.

"It will take longer," Mario said.

"Okay," Aditya agrees, so now they walk across the street in tandem and make people in their vehicles think they are filming a music video or movie. To motorists and cars who were stopped at a red light and watched Mario and Adiya walk, both seemed incompatible with the street landscape. Their contrast and charm dazzle the eyes. Both of them wore expensive suits. Walking like the Beatles group making album covers on zebra crossings. Moreover, their height exceeds the average height of people in general.

Mario and Aditya don't care about people's reactions. They continued walking and entered the lobby of the restaurant. Aditya talks to a servant woman who greets them. The woman checked the reservation list and escorted them to the room.

"Please," the woman said after opening a door to a room reserved especially for them by Prakas Bhoja.

When the door opens, Mario and Aditya can see that Prakas Bhoja is waiting. This is a standard etiquette among business people, those in need must wait for the party. In the case of Mario and Prakas, the leaders of Bhoja Enterpraise and Bhoja Entertainment, Prakas Bhoja is the party waiting for the hand channel from Mario, the leader of Falcon Face.

Prakas Bhoja came with his secretary, Nadine, a woman who had eyes like a fox. But he is not a fox demon, he is a vulture demon. Since Nadine is by Prakas Bhoja's side, Prakas Bhoja is also known as a vulture demon worshiper. Aditya notices Nadine's appearance. This is Aditya's first time going head-to-head with Nadine.

Not only Nadine, but there was a young man, sitting separately and behind Prakas Bhoja. The young man lowered his head. His face is similar to Prakas Bhoja, so Mario and Aditya guess the young man is Prakas Bhoja's biological son and is studying to carry on his father's business.

After briefly observing the appearance of the young man who is still a student, Aditya turns his eyes to assess Nadine's appearance as a bad woman. Although she has the prowess of a secretary, her appearance shows that she is not only a secretary but also Prakas Bhoja's bedmate. Despite getting such a conclusion, Aditya is silent, because the bed is their own business.

Aditya notices how Mario deals with Prakas Bhoja. Mario looked relaxed. Of course, Mario will not be intimidated into ordinary humans.

After they became formally acquainted with each other, business talks resumed. Conversations about business don't take long. It may only be an hour. After the agreement was reached, Prakas Bhoja happily called the waiter to prepare Mario's favorite drink, sake. Inwardly, Aditya sneered, their research was done very poorly. Mario can indeed enjoy sake, but all this time he has done it only for courtesy. Business meetings are like war, and must use tactics.

"Thank you," Mario said, as Prakas Bhoja poured him sake. Aditya doesn't say anything. He only reached the conclusion that their relationship would not last long. When Mario achieves his goal, he will not care about Prakas Bhoja.

"No problem," Prakas Bhoja said, his teeth all visible as he laughed. He was proud of himself and thought he had successfully tied Mario as the investor of his company.

"Nadine, serve Aditya. You have to thank him because he was the one who played the role of conveying our proposal to Mr. Mario," Prakas Bhoja said, trying to please Aditya and Mario at once. He gets information that whoever can please Aditya, can also win Mario's heart. Aditya is like a caretaker for anyone who wants to reach Mario's throne.

Aditya and Nadine sit at separate tables with Mario and Prakas, but next to each other.

Nadine picks up a teapot filled with sake and Mario signals Aditya to accept the service provided by Nadine, Prakas Bhoja's secretary.

Their relationship became predictable. Take advantage of each other and in the future can stab each other.

"Mr. Prakas, I'm curious about something," Mario said. Aditya opened his ears wide just then and there.

"Oh, what is that? Please just say it," said Prakas Bhoja who is always easily consumed by happiness, so will answer whatever kind of questions are asked to him when he is happy.

"I heard of an incident involving your son, Rian Bhoja. This incident is related to the Panther Stadium. Is he okay?" Mario looked at the young man behind Prakas Bhoja blatantly.

Prakas Bhoja held his breath and turned his head, looking at his son who was now chewing sushi and pretending not to hear their conversation.

"He is Bondan, my first son. Rian is the youngest child. Rian is fine, he has been able to go back to school as usual," Prakas Bhoja said, his tone of voice turning into an unwillingness.

Aditya thinks that Prakas doesn't like Mario mentioning Rian. Prakas' purpose in inviting his first son, Bondan, is to get Mario to know his first son, so Prakas must be disappointed if Mario is more interested in Rian.

"Oh, you are Bondan? Are you still a student?" Mario then gives attention to Bondan.

Bondan put down his chopsticks. He didn't put Mario in his eyes when he answered. "Yes, I'm still a student."

"It looks like you learned how to do business from your father early on," Mario said. His remarks and Bondan's attitude reminded him of himself. Back then, when my father was alive, I was also forced to participate in business meetings, Mario thought.

"I want him to learn early," Prakas said, his joy clearly reflected in the rhythm of his voice.

Aditya silently observes. Nadine also quietly followed the flow of their conversation.

"You are so lucky that your father cares for you," Mario said to Bondan who then nodded gratefully. Was he forged into someone who had to bow down while speaking? Mario suddenly becomes curious about the upbringing style of the Bhoja family.

"Then Rian must not be old enough to study business," Mario spoke as if insensitive to Prakas Bhoja's reaction. Aditya is also attracted by Bondan's expression, which seems much harder to guess than Prakas Bhoja. From that moment on, Aditya thinks Bondan will become a more successful businessman than his father.
