Chapter 47: The Wedding

RORY POV

OLIVER'S HOUSE

A Month Later

There was a hush in the audience as "Here Comes the Bride" started blaring from the hidden speakers. I swallowed nervously and peered through my veil. I could see the entire audience had turned around to face me.

"Are you ready? I am if you are."

"Yes," I whispered back to my mom.

She nodded, and we began walking down the aisle towards the wedding arch. I could hear someone crying, and the feeling of watchful eyes followed as we walked down the aisle. As we edged closer to the wedding arch where Michael was standing, I realized that I had a complete death-grip on my bouquet. I wasn't used to being watched by so many people. I focused on Oliver, standing at the altar, waiting for me with a massive smile on his face.

Michael was an ordained minister, which meant he was the one who performed the wedding ceremony. He looked very stern as he began our vows. I could tell he was taking this very seriously.
