Selene and I arrived back at the house just as Morgan and Bradley pulled in the driveway.
Bradley got off of his bike and ripped his helmet off. He stormed around the driveway for a second, screamed at the sky, and then smashed his helmet into the ground.
I couldn't say I didn't feel similarly.
"What exactly happened," I asked as Selene got out of the car and looked between the three of us.
"Is everything okay?" She flinched when Bradley's head snapped towards her and he began marching at her. "What's wrong," she stammered out just before he got to her.
Bradley took Selene's face in his hands and kissed her fiercely, smothering her with his affection. When he finally relented, he looked her in the eyes, searching for something. I'm not sure if he found it but he pulled her into an embrace and spent a moment just holding her.
"Talk to me, Bradley." Her tone was soft and she rubbed her hands up and down his back and sides.
