Selene is known in the underground as a deadly woman. But, in the eyes of her father, Crime Lord Arthur Leigh, she is a constant thorn in his side. After her latest mistake, she's desperate to gain her father's approval. She devises a plan to take down the neighboring city's crime lords, the infamous brothers of The Venator Family.

Aaren, Bradley, and Morgan are the best at what they do, and even better at keeping control. They own the city of Kilbrook and nothing comes between them. I didn't know how much longer I could contain the devilish duo. Bradley had become completely unhinged and Morgan was frothing at the mouth with rage. 


After the motel, we didn't know where to turn, there was nowhere left to go. Myles didn't have any properties that we knew of that he could have taken Selene to. We were at a loss.


The only thing we could do now was wait for her meeting with Arthur. Luckily, she hadn't erased the message she had sent to him from Bradley's phone. But, she hadn't given an exact location, just a vague mention of 'the pier'. 


Morgan was doing his best to search for any and all possible locations but he was coming up with too many possibilities.


I watched as he furiously typed away, growing more frustrated by the second. 


"How in the Hell are we supposed to find this pier, there's literally hundreds!"


"Well, did you start with looking at properties that Arthur owns that have piers?"
